UFO Capture/CTV/Melbourne.

Right did a search but nothing came up.Came across this video showing a object moving with pace then suddenly stopping before moving of again with pace.This is NOT a nigh vision camera ,its a cctv camera with .0001lux samsung sdc435 .This has to be the fastest seagull/bird ever or a very clever CGI manipulation. What is the members thoughts on this one i wonder.

I wonder if that camera is one that would create trails from exposure of a flying bird? If not, then I think that anomaly is something else.

There was a thread last month on this video from the same YT poster , general consensus was birds .


I think the OP video is either a bird or bat .

I guess that model camera does leave image trails from fast moving objects. It does resemble birds for the most part, but it would be nice to see a comparative analogy with that camera and some actual birds at night. With 720 res I would think someone could get a decent extracted still image for a better look.

ETA: The camera is capable of 30 frames per second shooting, but is typically set up for one shot every 8.5 seconds. So yea trailing could be created. This little bugger is quite the camera for amateur astronomers.www.asemonline.org...
