
The man known for bringing comic book hero Superman to life, Christopher
Reeve, has died at the age of 52. Mr. Reeve went into cardiac arrest Saturday at home, and subsequently became comatose. He was undergoing treatment
for a severely infected decubitus ulcer which was complicated when the infection spread through his system.
He was born September 25th, 1952, and was paralyzed from the neck down in 1995 after a fall from a horse. After his accident, he and his wife Dana
dedicated their lives to paralysis research.

Reeve fell into a coma Saturday after going into cardiac arrest while at his New York home, said his publicist, Wesley Combs told The Associated Press

It was a sad day when Reeve was paralyized.
