In order to wage a war against China, the USA would have to outlaw feminism and send 90% of feminists to life detainment camps, begin rapid reparations to America's young men and pray. If America's young men have the will to fight, no nation can stand a chance(the left knows this well, hence why leftist's use feminism to destroy America's ability to defend itself).

The US will meet its fate yes, but China is actually less stable.

Surely you realize a nation of 1 billion with a history of cyclical revolution is a lot less stable than a nation of 300,000,000 who for the most part agree with each other, except for a few that every year grow fewer.

America would sooner go atheist than collapse. Civil war almost certainly, but not collapse.

Man just imagine the world having to chose sides on that one! The Chinese response to an American attack would be build a cruise missile for each of us, or maybe an intercontinental missile for every US city with a population over 2,000.

Chinas cities make ours look like villages, and the world's largest ever economy and industrial power house would bomb America into the stone age! You underestimate China in a major way! I understand it is hard to tear down your own sense of well being here, but the US has no chance against China and her friends! Your notion of this is suicidal!

It would start with our Pacific fleet being wiped out, and then immediately after followed by massive sanctions against the US as the whole of the world picks sides. If we then show aggression at all we would see American cities burn one after the other!

This is end game we are discussing here! China has always been refered to as the sleeping Giant, and that is exactly what she is! At the end of the day we are much more fragile than China!

the intelligence level of this thread seems to amaze me.. all these ATS members who have no training in combat, no idea about their OWN government, no clue what really goes on across seas other then the half-truth main stream media reports..

maybe you ATS members should run the military strategies of war for the US army? Im sure you would lead the country to a great victory over the Chinese army . . . . . . . not.

You half way sound like a propaganda agent. Please listen to reason. There are over a million Koreans to the north, and millions of Chinese waiting for the chance to revolt in the south. China would be in civil war if it fought the US. And the US would not have the military capacity to deal with a civil war after a long and harsh war to capture its industrial centers.

In all likelihood China would be split up into several nations, just as it had the last time it collapsed from external invasion. Manchuria would be fought over by the Koreans, and undeniably Japan would begin producing military arms again, fearing a strong Korea. Or who knows. Maybe they'd be allies and Japan would be peaceful this time around. Western China would be lawless, central China would become a democracy and in all likelihood never see an American presence, and Southern China would be a mix of US occupation and independence movements. The US would run away and let the region manage itself.

No more China, America running away, Korea the regional super power, and Japan either isolating itself in fear, or joining Korea and doing business deals with the New Central Chinese government.. That's probably what would happen.

Also the world would probably not be choosing sides. In fact most of the world probably wouldn't even care. the EU would be busy fighting a National Socialist Greece, and the Russians would be bogged down with dealing with Greek-controlled Eastern Europe. Maybe they'd ally, maybe they'd fight. Who knows.

Because the only Americans that actually believe they could win a conventional war against a real world power, as opposed to a small country that the U.S. armed themselves, are too ignorant to realise that the America they think they live in is a complete lie, and always has been.
Look, if you can't beat a bunch of backwards sand farmers in Afghanistan with your futuristic superior weapons, how the hell do you think you can beat a country of millions of trained and well equipped soldiers?
You do know that China has nukes to, right?
They don't need a navy if you attack them...they just blast your boats out of the water with nukes, and voila - no more navy.
Then what?
Land invasion?
That would last about 5 minutes before they rolled over you like a tidal wave.
So, yeah, not without nukes you won't, and that won't win either since the amount you would need to drop would make the whole world unlivable....
not that it would likely stop the greedy retards running your country.

The big question is why do Americans feel the need to size themselves up against every country in the world, including those that pose no threat?
America reminds me of Ben Stillers character in Dodgeball...Short fat little man that gets in shape, builds a super gym, a super ego, and super greed, then fails miserabley, and goes back to being a fat little man with low self esteem, that no one likes.
All of your wars have done nothing to make the world safer (quite the contrary), and all you've really managed to do is bankrupt yourselves, and turned a large portion of your young people into psychologically broken, unemployed misfits that can and do lose it, and kill random people, or who have now joined your law enforcement agencies and are all to ready to use their training on you.

Well we did beat them. Iraq is submitted and Afghanistan close to it.

Believe it or not but it actually takes longer to fight wars in small farmer countries than it does in organized combat. This is a well documented historic fact. It's why the Soviets could not take down Afghanistan, the Chinese still have problems suppressing some areas, and the Germans had difficulty fighting the insurgencies they were facing.


Farmers = insurgency. Soldiers = tombs.


This is why the founders of the US were interested in a militia-only army. Because such a system would not allow foreign intervention and would make it impossible to invade America. China actually has had a similar strategy for centuries and its done them well.


It is very easy to beat an organized military. It takes decades, if not centuries, to fight farmers and sand people.



America vs China is no different than Germany vs Russia in WW2. Only China does not have a harsh winter. China would fall.....but that does not mean America could win. Think about that.

If two super powers go to war surely they wont waste time with ground troops etc, they will just bomb each other and cause world wide destruction. If two fighters are going to step into a cage to fight to the death then they will use the biggest/most efficient weapon they can find.

Thing is they would want our lands, that would be easy enough to do by their sheer numbers however it could not be accomplished without destroying the land because we would fight until nothing remained.

I really don't think anybody here knows what they are talking about!

First: china would never go to war cause their economy is basically dependent on ours.

Second: are Navy is bigger than the next 19 largest navies COMBINED, yeah china has millions of missiles well we have counter measures lights years ahead of the Chinese army not including missile defence.

Third: yes they the largest ground force in the world but what they have in numbers they lack in tech, 70% of the army is still not modernized. Most of their soldiers carry nothing more then a gun couple of magazines, MAYBE a radio, and small equipment. And their size could also be their disadvantage CAN YOU IMAGE HAVING TO RESUPPLY AND FEEDING THAT SIZE OF AN ARMY IN WARTIME?

Fourth: they do have an Air Force but also half of it are old MiGs from Korean War and the Cold War eras. And their stealth fighter program is not ready nor is it advance as the USAF and also I'ma say a giant ripoff of the F-22. Their drone programs are also about 20 years behind ours and also a ripoff of the predators programs. Let alone their ADVANCE drone programs like our x-47& x-48.

Fifth: if we were to invade mainland chine would involve weeks if not months of carpet bombing, the army doesn't just run on the bitch screaming and shooting guns in the air.

Some will say I'm underestimating china's army but I'm not, and we really SHOULD NOT underestimate but we gotta look at the facts. Of course the US Army will suffer loses but overall I think we would come on top personally.

If I might toss in an opinion, and replying to the OP as I just came across this thread on the new flagged column...

I don't believe the United States would win a war against Mainland China, to be specific about who we're talking about. The same is true, in my opinion against the Russian Federation. We'd lose in either and...it'd be a very short war if both at once.

The thing is...and here is the ultimate evil genie whammy on this. They'd lose too. The population loss on all sides would be such, no one wins the war because no one who actually had anything to do with starting it is still matter as we all know it. Nice image there...but it's factual. There IS such a thing as Nuclear Digging. It's a concept those who recall the Cold War or lived in overkill zones for a possible Nuclear War back then ought to recall. No bunker is deep enough for them in a true, all out war.

Even if we have a wimp(s) in the White House (no names mentioned... ), there are some things I believe the system either already allows for or would be MADE to allow for by force, to allow the military to retaliate from our side. The other two...I have no concerns about them being too timid. Oh..that's the LAST concern I'd have about Russia or China.

So, in the end....if it ever even started conventional at that level at all, it wouldn't end that way...and God help the world, but I'm sure all three Super Powers have real nasty crap squirreled away that mankind is very well off never knowing existed, let along see used in the ultimate world war.
