Indeed.

If the shooter joined the army in 1992, it was right after the first Gulf War, when the military fought the "ragheads".
From ‘Gook’ To ‘Raghead’

After 9/11, the association made between headware and terrorism escalated...

Since 9/11, much of our work as a community has been to educate our fellow citizens that, despite what they see on the news or on the internet, in reality, people who wear turbans are not terrorists and we are not the enemy.

Americanturban

if he's a neo nazi, he probably ran across Pam Geller's rants or the drawing of Muhammad with a bomb in his turban..

The bottom line: Geller is friends with them because they hate Muslims. Period. That’s the only thing that matters to her.

source

Then we recently have Congressional Tea Party supporters Bachmann, Trent Franks, Louie Gohmert, Thomas Rooney and Lynn Westmoreland writing a letter adding more suspicions about Muslims infiltrating America.

What is someone like Wade Page going to do to defend his country and Constitution against Muslim terrorists? Just what he did.

I do not think that you realise that the Tea party is not a Political Party. It is a movement. Claiming freedom of speach to spout racist nonsense is one thing and is all well and good but when fellow travellers of even members decide to go on a shooting spree accept the consequences of your actions. That is the sad thing you should consider.

Could you at least prove the racial hate before vomiting filth please?

Thanks

I bet lunch Tiger5 will not.

NO!

Was the gunman a tea party supporter thinking he was killing Muslims?

NO!

There are theories that the Shooting in Tucson was inspired by Sarah Palin's website that had a target type cross hares over Gifford's district. Has the hate in politics gone too far?

NO!
This sounds like a witch hunt and a farce of a topic simply designed to discredit the Teaparty

Heck, we could switch "Occupy" with "Tea Party" and find more connections to violence.

Neo-Nazis did after all align themselves with OWS. And they did it publicly.

Of course, OWS did not like that one bit and good for them.

But I ask of others...name one Tea Party riot?

It is the left who try to push buttons and incite violence to further their goals.

Just one. After a rally in Salt Lake City, Larry found coupons for TGI Fridays. We stormed the doors!

I think its safe to say the republican party lost one voter, the democrats lost six. You all can bash me all you want, you can call the thread what you want. The American Taliban just killed a bunch of people he thought was Muslim. RIP to the victims of this madman and may the shooter rot very uncomfortably in hell. Lets hope karma kicks these groups preaching hate to the curb. Lets hope Americans with integrity see these groups for what they are. Lets hope Americans with a conscience wake up and look and see what groups they are associated with.

This was a act of domestic terrorism, a right wing politically motivated terror attack. I assume this guy was motivated by the political hate being spewed forth daily. I expect more violence in the days, weeks, and months to come. I expect there targets to be gays, Muslims, and abortion providers.

Lets hope we don't see anymore 2nd amendment solutions from the followers of the right wing preaching machine.

You can say Right-wing but you are wrong. Nazis were socialists.

Definitly Left-wing.

Next argument?

You still won't leave it alone, will you?
You can try to stick a label on conservatives all you want.

It won't stick and it makes you look rather foolish.

Way i see it Americans with a conscience didn't create this thread or eg on the hatred for the "evil right wingers".

Its kinda hard to riot from a government paid for scooter.

The youth of America supports OWS and not the tea party and kids will be kids. BTW I don't support OWS either. Both political movements are extreme and dangerous IMHO.

Funny I have never heard of a left wing white supremacist group, or a left wing neo nazi group. You can believe the propaganda if you wish but I don't buy it for a minute.

Mods since this was a terrorist attack can we move this thread to War on Terror and can we change the "tea party" in the title to "right wing"? As this would be more accurate.

What I'm trying to say is that just because they have been labeled as such, does not make them so.

Liberals changed their name from Progressives in the early 20th century. It really didn't change their mindset nor their agenda.

The word Gay used to mean being happy, not so much anymore.

The two political parties or the religious tenents do not look like anything they were 40 years ago.

See what I'm getting at?

Someone must have really pissed him off at the local 7-11, or maybe he hates curry? Most likely he is disturbed, but he is dead and all the conspiracy nuts can pontificate until the cows come home or aliens land in London

I understand your view, but what I see are the right and there constant attacks towards immigrants and gays and people not Christian these tactics were used by the Nazi party in Germany leading up to them seizing power. Is it any wonder that these groups of people are coming under physical attacks with all of the negative press about them?

Its the extreme both left and right that I don't like, but the right is being super funded by religion and corporations and media and in my opinion are a huge threat to personal freedom and liberty.

Or was he indoctrinated by the media and political groups and/or religion to act out violently?

See how easy it is to assign blame to others?

People will always be swayed by others who have access to mass produce their views.

The trick is to read, watch and listen. And then make up your own mind. And ALWAYS question your own beliefs as you maybe are being down a road that you normally would not have taken.

More than likely, but was he also indoctrinated by the hate preached on a daily basis? This is really the point of this thread, what role did the media, politics and religion play in this mass attack, and can we expect more to come?

You can't fix stupid, if this indeed was a revenge attack because of 9/11 against the Sikh and hell is a real place they will have fun with this guy for a eternity.
