Same here.

I'm sure they have a live feed from the MSL (At NASA). Its just a matter of do they want to let the public watch it as well.

Saying that makes me think there will only be a live feed of the command center, here on Earth.

I'm not sure what exact time and day but Discovery Canada is going to be doing a show on it. I can find out the day and time if any one is interested.

Anything 'space' related is my passion

I am very curious on how the 7 minutes of terror will go...isn't it called as such because of the difficult descent through the Martian atmosphere?

How will this thing land, are they using retro-rockets or are they using the "balloon" method?

Rockets on this one..

it is the size of a mini cooper and weighs a ton..

so balloons wont work..

gonna be one hell of a ride..

watch this video for details on how they are going to land the rover..

sure hope it works..

of course we will get some amazing pics of the landing area tonight.

i actually enjoy seeing all the geeks being so elated. i say geeks in the most honorable way.

www.cnn.com...

Sunday also happens to be the 82nd birthday of former NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong. It's hoped the birthday will be auspicious for the landing, NASA's John Grunsfeld said in a news conference

happy birthday Mr Armstrong!
