Where do you download your songs?

Im at a loss to find a place to download songs. I was downloading off of youtube, but Google recently blocked it so you cant do that anymore.

Before you say it, I cant download anything from Itunes. Long story short my OS is out of date, and the Itunes store requires the latest version of Itunes, which requires the latest OS. I refuse to buy a new computer or OS until this one dies.

Im not opposed to buying albums from stores, its just hard to find a lot of the music I listen to in physical format.

Id be up for a pay site to if you can vouch for it, not trying to encourage illegal downloads.


Anyways, Im up for any suggestions.....

if i want an album i use Utorrent and isohunt.com to search for stuff

of course if i end up loving the album, i will purchase it to support the band

OP, amazon has albums and songs I believe.
I tunes just supports the fruit on the box company, and I hate fruit on the box...

I download music from my brain, generally through my left and right hands, ending up somewhere on one of my guitars. That's about as far as I've traced it.

Why do so many people pirate music? I pay for music because I respect the artist.

Can't you find an older version of itunes somewhere? I havn't updated itunes in ages. What's your OS?

Why do you need it in mp3 format?

Just stream it.

A friend of mine told me that torrent sites are best for music and film, personally I think it's disgusting that anyone would cheat the music and film industry out of more millions than they already make.

It will get the entire video, but then it's a simple matter of using your favourite software to extract the audio. Heck even virtualdub would save the audio in mp3 format as long as you have the lame codec, iirc.
