There's too much scaffolding to tell anything other than it's tall, whatever it is.

Looks like a structure to relay electronic signals of some type Set up in a possible cell tower array. for multiple users.

That was a guess pulled out on my hat....

Is that whole area under development? I mean is that going to be out there, relatively alone or is that possibly meant to be turned to landscaping around it? I'm just wondering if it's visual for a park display or functional like a radio relay..but awfully small and low for any radio stuff? Oh well... drive by when people are out there and ask? They might be happy to tell ya all about it out of sheer boredom on the job site.

*Is that a Vietnam Wall Memorial in the background or something similar? I looked closer on zoom and there are lines of lights along the bottom of the foundation, pointing up from the corners. Could this be a recreation of the Washington Monument? ....or similar display? Several flags flying and tons more flag poles everywhere...?

I pasted "obelisk is located McAllen, Texas" into "Google", and this is what I came up with:

For two decades, plans have been kicked around to build a 105-foot- tall, black granite obelisk near the McAllen Convention Center.

Defo looks like an obselisk.

I wouldn't be surprised, I only noticed the other month, we've got like 3 in out town centre.

Not as bit as that tho.

Any idea what the structures on the left are?
