This has been the threat all of my 62 years -- It was the threat that built the huge military industrial machine, it was the threat that built McCarthy and Nixon,it is the threat that brought us to Korea, it is the threat that brought us to Viet Nam, it is the threat that put us on the moon, it is the threat that made Raygun a hero, it is the threat that built 1000s of bomb shelters and the interstate highway system.

It has been the boogie man who lived under the bed. It is a boogie man now - for tea ##SNIPPED## and republicans. It is the teat that the right wing uses to suckle its authoritarian personality.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Communism especially Cuban style communism
has been dead for years.
Anytime there is a democrat president (especially a black one with a funny name)
right wing zealots (many ex cubans are republican) scream "Communism is coming!"
Never happens.

WRONG... How wrong you are and how easy it is for someone who has no idea of what they are talking about to claim so...

I still have family in Cuba and know what is happening there to this day...

BTW, your claim that "it will naver happen" is also wrong...

What do you call the "nationalization" of GMC?...

What do you call Obama's speech about entrepreneurs not owning their businesses, and that someone else created such businesses?...

You might call it "democracy", but what you don't know is that "democracy" is another name for socialism/communism. Democracy is mob rule, or what is also called "dictatorship of the proletariat"...

Let's read what some former socialist/communists had to say about democracy shall we?

"Democracy is the road to socialism." Karl Marx
...
The theory of Communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property
...

thinkexist.com...

"Democracy is indispensable to socialism." Vladimir Lenin

Communism is not an issue at all. That is just another scary term to get people wiggling uncomfortably in their chairs.

What we need to worry about and have today is outright Fascism. Through propaganda and indoctrination, the totalitarian state has come to America in bits and pieces and while people were on the lookout for "Red Commies" invading our lands, Fascism crept right on in.

Beezzer's Think Tank.

Martial Law has occured. Obama has been made president (pro tem) for the forseeable future. UN soldiers are walking the street. The Army is walking the streets.

All Constitutional freedoms have been suspended.

Now lets walk it backwards.

The people, the huddled masses support it, so the alternative HAS to be worse than Martial Law. 250 million weapons in the hands of Americans are a powerful deterrent. So whatever happened to initiate martial law has to be so bad that even the NRA is supporting it.

What could it be, that would make the people, the Tea Party, the freedom lobbyists support martial law?

It's not going to happen overnight. If it happenss at all.

In order for it to be effective, you'd need a slow build-up, people in different parts of the country, and an orchastrated event(s).

It would need to be fool-proof and create a great risk of human life.

Now Obama may be narcissistic, egotistic, bombastic, and an idiot. . . . . . what was I saying???. . . . oh yeah, but he isn't stupid.

Just look around after 9/11 RIP but our country is going down fast just look around it aint hard to look and see. With the NDAA ect. there is something going on?

I'll ask you the same thing I asked Sir Neo. What is the catalyst going to be?

The economic collapse of the U.S. dollar. The riots from the food shortages that will occur because of the collapse. Then Obama, or whomever is in office, unless it is Ron Paul, will claim that we need to "nationalize" all agriculture, including farms. During this time martial law will be implemented and "changes" will be dictated by the true elites who will claim "these are the only solutions to the problems we have now".

I have posted the following fact many times, but here it is again as to the goal these people have.

The governments of Europe, the United States, and Japan are unlikely to negotiate a social-democratic pattern of globalization – unless their hands are forced by a popular movement or a catastrophe, such as another Great Depression or ecological disaster

These governments would not accept a "social-democratic pattern of globalization" unless their hands are FORCED by a popular movement (Occupy and Anthropogenic Global Warming movements), another Great Depression (the current GLOBAL economic crisis), or an ecological disaster (Global Warming been blamed on humans)

Democratising Global Governance:

The Challenges of the World Social Forum

by

Francesca Beausang

ABSTRACT

This paper sums up the debate that took place during the two round tables organized by UNESCO within the first World Social Forum in Porto Alegre (25/30 January 2001). It starts with a discussion of national processes, by examining democracy and then governance at the national level. It first states a case for a "joint" governance based on a combination of stakeholder theory, which is derived from corporate governance, and of UNESCO's priorities in the field of governance. As an example, the paper investigates how governance can deviate from democracy in the East Asian model. Subsequently, the global dimension of the debate on democracy and governance is examined, first by identification of the characteristics and agents of democracy in the global setting, and then by allusion to the difficulties of transposing governance to the global level.

I bet the unions loved the compensations.

It is the teat that the right wing uses to suckle its authoritarian personality
Which the libs would love to switch the role and latch onto the citizen's teat.

I wouldn't worry about it.
Me too.

BTW do you like spyder 550 or you actually own one? Thats a very very collectors car.

Don't buy that for the simple fact for anyone who has been watching the news today about sequestration and millions of people getting a pink slp for their jobs right up around election time.

Billions of revenue, and jobs are going to be lost.

Really?... And the over what 125 - 160 million people who were murdered under socialism/communism in about 80 years was "nothing" according to you?... Or the millions who were inprisoned in gulags for not accepting socialism/communism?...

Please... You need to read a real book or two about history...

Wow... This man WAS an officer of Che Guevara, but he left when he saw what was truly happening...

You want to claim that Cubans who escaped socialism/communism are the same as NAZIS?... Are you of your damn mind?...

A catalyst? Well, a huge natural disaster - California earthquake, or New Madrid Fault - scarcity of food leading to rationing - the 2012 drought is a calamity in the making - a "false flag" nuclear attack on a few big cities by "sleeper cells".

There's a few catalyst. I believe Katrina was just an experiment. Remember, New Orleans survived the hurricane, and it was the levee system failing that did it in.

Funny, in the post above this one you say that Nazis are Hitler's socialism and in this post you say they are not the same.

Hey if the US does become communist at least you'll be able to visit your family back on the island. Got to look on the bright side of things.

Well because they want it in their own homeland.

Why go somewhere else when they can make it happen at home.

I though the topic was Communism taking over America....not what has happened in other countries in the past. That is another topic for another thread, and I would be glad to discuss that topic.

Please... You need to read a real book or two about history...

Quite presumptuous and rude...huh? I'm quite the history nerd and have done a lot of research on various topics relating to government and politics. Am I an expert? No....but I am not flying blind either.

Fascism is the name for Mussolini's and Hitler's SOCIALISM...

No...Fascism is the ideology those men used in an attempt to create their vison of perfect government and people. Socialism has nothing to do with it.

Socialism is nothing more than a group of people collaborating or sharing resources in order to provide a need or service for all people involved.

Police is socialism.
Fire dept is socialism.
Streets are socialism

and on and on and on........the word socialism is also another word, like communism, that is being used to scare the masses into knee-jerk responses that benefit those disseminating propaganda for their own gain.
