All I know is, the only thing in the Bible that ever made any sense to me is "love your neighbor as yourself", or "do unto others as you would have done to you". That's all you need to live by - nothing else. You don't need ten commandments, or anything out of the Old Testament. If everyone would live by the Golden Rule, all our problems would go away. ALL of them.

ironically, that was one of Yeshuas 2 greates commandments when they tried to trick him.
they asked what is the most important commandment...
he said to love your God with all yoru heart, and to love your neigbor as you love your self.

if we all could do this, then every other sin would dwindle away.

a REAL christian would live by those 2 rules... i love my God and try to do as much as i can to make him proud of my daily life.
i also TRY to love all others as much as i can. That means no hate, no judgment, no stealing, no lieing to others, you get what i mean.
if i can really love others as yeshua did, then i would LIVE like he did, and that means to ACCEPT every one... the whores, the gays, the asshole kids ( lol love that term), the muslims, the antichristians, everyone...
iff a christian is going to follow christ then follow his words and HIS deeds... that measn to love and accept.
he didnt say be killed, or to let others insult god, he said to love. stand up for what is right ( as in when they defiled the temple selling animals for profit) and NOT for the condemnation of others.
just for argument sake for those that hate christians or call christians morans etc....just read YESHUAS words, follows HIS words.. NOT johns interpretations, or the other apostlels interpretations or thoughts... im not denying those words.. im just saying, if you get a bible with yeshuas words printed in red, then read just those.. those are words supposedly out of his mouth.. if you were to read those, then you will see that all he preached was love, forgivness, kindness and compassion. with 2 greatest commandments to love God, and love others. he never put away gays, or mentrating women or anything.. in fact.. he loved sinners even more then non sinners .
i TRY to live like that as a true christian. Although the thoughts of 2 guys kissing gives me the heebey geebies, they have every right to do so. If god has a problem with it, then GOD will sort it out... my job and commandment is to love. and i love and accept straight, gay, idiotic, mexican..... what have you...

I did not say they had banned anyone.

Opposition to gay marriage is primarily religious in nature. So, if we accept what Leviticus says about "the gays", we must accept what they say about menstruating women. Yes?

According to the Bible they are unclean. How is that suitable for a woman we are commanded to "stay away from" to be in a restaurant where others are eating? I am merely taking the Bible seriously - all of it, and seeing if others are doing the same (they aren't).

Do you reject parts of Leviticus? Would you be happy, after reading and accepting Leviticus, to sit next to a menstruating woman who is unclean and disgusting? Do you think homosexuals should be put to death, or merely barred from marriage?

It is safe to assume, your IQ is about as high as Britteny Spear's. You have ban in the title. Which you assume Chick Fil A said ban all homosexuals.

Like stated above...EPIC FAIL

There we have it. Defending the traditional concept of marriage now amounts to hate according to somewhat confused liberals and communists.

Well done. May you now join the exalted ranks of the politically correct thought police.

You don't read so well, do you? You can defend the traditional concept of marriage AND defend gay marriage - all at the same time. Yes, it is possible. One is not exclusive of the other. Do you think you can comprehend that concept?

I'm asking for the basic respect that you would give to any other random stranger, the kind of respect I would have shown you had you not gone on to post this crap.

Look mate, being gay doesn't make you special as much as you appear to think it does.

When did I say being gay makes me "special"? I'd much rather be treated the same as any other person.

Really, gays. Their own worst enemy at times.

Great, thanks for equating me with those people when you know nothing about me. I have never exposed myself in public in that way. I have more respect for myself than that.

Unfortunetly the vast majority of Christians are mere children of the faith...with a mere kindergarten exegesis and a mere exoteric understanding. Christianity is too dysfunctional to produce many esoteric initiated adults of the faith. And so there are unfortunate developments like this.

As an initiated Christian mystic I apologize on behalf of my immature, foolish, childish brothers and sisters in Christ to anyone who has been hurt by the hypocricy of babes who aren't ready for adult solid food. Forgive them.

Yes, you're right. Heterosexuals are always the epitome of class and decorum at all times. Too bad those awful homosexuals can't learn from us.

ETA: I had to pick a photo that didn't actually show exposed breasts.

The sensational media. Rarely do they ever show the full scope of Gay Pride.

They just pick the most extreme photo they can find and blast it all over the media a thousand times a day.

I've been to the Long Beach Gay Pride a couple times. This kind of spectacle is the minority.

How dare they! Don't they know that gays are the new coloureds.

What the frack is that supposed to mean? What era are you living in?

I think everybody may be wasting their time on this poster.

I have ban in the title, but not the words "Chick-Fil-A banned gays". I am asking a question about whether they should ban, and saying nothing about who they may have banned in the past.

That I should need to explain this multiple times is frankly shocking.

Care to actually answer the question?

The first Sunday I went to chick fil a and they were closed..... Havent been back. Their chicken is gross to me anyway... But yeah being closed on sunday is their right but its also my right not to go back. They are mixing business with religion and I for one wish all the gays would go and eat on saturday for lunch. They should be busy enough to take note.. Lol

For now, we have freedom of speech and thats awesome... One day soon we may not be able to speak our mind. The president of chick fi a was expressing his opinion.

And... So am I! :-)
