Did you ever wish that you could go back to that one moment in time, or just wish that you could go back to that one place that was so special so long
ago? Maybe you would just like to see how time has changed things? I get fanciful on occasion and think like that....don't you judge me.
I ran across these photos and thought that the way they were presented was pretty powerful. As you can tell, they have held the pictures in the exact
spot that they were taken years before and have torn the actual pic in half so you can see what they saw/see now.
There are 75 pics posted at the website here...

I have picked a few of my favorites to whet your appetite:
This original photo was taken in 1906 after the San Francisco Earthquake - Market and Battery Streets.
From what I can gather this is a pic showing the installation of the top decking for a Subway in Toronto 1950.
No information on this one.
This original photo was taken at The March on Washington August 28, 1963.
This original shot is believed to be from a flood in 1955 in Maitland.
Original shot labeled as "Demonstration Trench at City Hall" Toronto 1914.
This one is taken of the Maria Pia Bridge during construction.
The source says this original photo was taken December 20, 1952.
I just wanted to share it. I thought it was pretty neat the way they aligned it just right. It is kind of like looking into the past and the present
at the same time. I hope some of you enjoy it as much as I did.
ETA....That each source for each photo can be found under each photograph on the site I linked above.
