No you won't....They will live better and keep us poorer ....You know at Halloween the best candy does not come from the rich neighborhood they keep their money...the poorer friends give out candy bars, while the rich give tootsie rolls...this will be their same attitude about jobs....trust me....

It is a tounge in cheek OP.

The point is that trickle down has never worked. It was called "Horse and Sparrow" in the 1800's...if you feed the horse enough oats, some of them will pass when the horse craps and the sparrows can pick them out of the crap.

To me....trickle down is more akin to a Rich man asking a man dying of thirst for his last gulp of water, promising he will fill the man's canteen to the top when he pees.

From an economists perspective...trickle down is simply nonsense.

THINK

No business ever hires when it is simply given more money. They hire and expand when DEMAND for thier products (CONSUMPTION) increases....otherwise, when the middle class has more money to spend...businesses hire to meet that consumption/demand.

If you owned a business and no one was buying your products, because they didn't have money....and then the government gave you money...you'd save it. Why would you expand? No one is buying your products!

Trickle down as stimulas to an economist is like telling a mechanic that the best way to start an engine is by pouring gas on the spark plug...you put the gas IN THE TANK.

We need a healthy middle class with disposable income and until we get back to that...any wealthy person that we give more money to is going to pocket it...not hire people to build products that aren't in demand...why bother? They just got money for free and "investing" in a company that nobody can afford to purchase from???WHAT? Why?

Just idiotic logic. Give a business owner a million dollars...he will NOT hire....Give a business man a Million customers and every bank in the world will fight for the privledge to give him money for expansion.

to save america and the working class and poor we must have jobs. reduce taxes on the job creators to zero and id bet you see 12 million new jobs created in no time. after those jobs are filled more job creators will be created and they will create more jobs and america would be great again.

I would take it a step further and say that they should not only not pay taxes, but get a part of the taxes we pay as well! Think of all the "trickle down" that would be happening. The average American would receive more money and we can then pay them more money! This will snowball, I guarantee it.

Flawless!

who exactly are the job creators?

because if we didn't tax poor people then it would give them more to spend on services and consumerism, which would increase demand and create more jobs.

jobs creation is not just the rich creating businesses, for it to be successful it needs customers, customers with extra tax burdens and less to spend could kill lots of businesses as alot of people can no longer afford to consume.

I agree with the other poster, nobody should pay taxes. But while we do we should all pay the same percentage.

it is the only fair way in my opinion.

The Boston Tea Party happened because of corporate tax cuts.

Really the Boston tea party was because of taxation without representation much like the income tax is.

The middle and poor class create the jobs. They purchase the majority of the services and products. Without them there would be no rich

No they don't because jobs are created when someone else is taking all the risk spending all the money so that other people can just walkin the door and fill out an application and press a button, or sweep a broom.etc.

Plus we already tried the tax cut on the rich thing and it didn't work. They outsourced in order to make even more money.

Working out great in China where all the evil rich folk are creating jobs so that the middle class can buy all those must have "civil rights".

It's a name that Frank Lutz (Professional wordsmith for the GOP) made up to describe the rich bastards who gladly took trillions of your tax dollars in bailouts and enjoyed a tax break for over a decade...whilst all the time not creating any jobs.

Lutz also gave you..."Government takeover of healthcare"...and if you are old enough to remember...He gave you "Death Tax"...it polled much more negatively than "Inheritance tax"...

The Boston Tea party started over the TEA ACT which was a corporate tax cut......

Representation was only part of it..

It is important to understand that the Tea Act actually placed no new tax on tea. Instead it simply gave a tax break to the East India Tea company.

Nope, all classes are inter-dependent upon one another.

Working out great in China where all the evil rich folk are creating jobs so that the middle class can buy all those must have "civil rights".

Who buys civil rights? The majority of civil rights issues were always a poor class problem, not middle anyway.

The USA's middle class is disappearing due to outsourcing...are you really praising our service based, low-wage economy because there is a Walmart?

Think of all the jobs that would be created if we had worker ownership of the means of production.

Just think if we had the machinery to produce for our needs, no more unemployment, no more artificial scarcity of resources, no more poverty.

Sorry, but if capitalists didn't pay taxes they would not create jobs. It would simply mean they would make more profit.

Lack of money is not why they are not creating jobs. Just a couple of headlines...

U.S. Companies Making Record Profits -- Because They Invest in Machines, Not Workers

Companies Sitting on Cash, But Not Hiring

Companies hold on to cash AJC exclusive: Despite profits, hiring doesn't increase much

Companies churn out profits but not jobs

American Businesses Sitting on Record Profits, Still Not Hiring

Rise in profits, more hiring? Not exactly

“Recovery in full swing” declared the front-page headline in Thursday’s edition of the Detroit Free Press, which gushed over reports of increased car sales, surging stocks and multi-billion profits for the Detroit automakers, a year and a half after GM and Chrysler declared bankruptcy.

For workers in the depressed industrial city, where the real unemployment rate approaches 50 percent, assertions about a soaring economy generate nothing but contempt. Michigan has the second highest unemployment rate in the nation and by the end of April 168,520 jobless workers—or 1,100 a day—will lose extended unemployment benefits, stripping their families of any income....
