An idea is indeed powerful perhaps one of the most powerfull things that we as humans create. For with out an idea there would be no fire, no math, no agriculture, and indeed no Ats. It is the act of a sentient being interacting with the world around it and playing with its awarness. Some are bad, others good. Some are silly while others are powerfull.

I believe yours is both a good one and a powerful one.

An idea can be seed or a virus. A seed idea will blossom into something beautiful , bear fruit , and spread in all directions and be as solid as an oak. Such as civil rights and the idea that all created equally. Where as a virus idea is spread and mutated and can infect and destroy. Such as eugenics/superior races and religious extremism.

I believe what you have here is the makings of a lovely seed idea that could one day blossom into a something strong and sturdy. Your on the right path fellow citizen.

Thanks so much for the supportive comments, it is good to hear others agree, at least in principle.
I believe that idea have a proper place and time to germinate, and given that I think this Idea's time is NOW.
I am sure there are persons out there more eloquent than myself stating the same, or near same idea.
It really could be beneficial if it were to go viral somehow, and reach more minds.

I have always thought Meme such as this could be placed in the Web and move slowly if not fast to achieve what Guns and bullets can not do in a million years. This idea, needs fleshing out, and is why I put it up here so the Great Minds of ATS can chew on it, beef it up and then hopefully send it out into the world as a Transforming tool.

First steps.

When I lost my corporate job many years ago, I decided then to try and follow my bliss and do things I love, instead of just being a cog in a machine. It is difficult because the Machine is geared to pull you back into the system one way or another.

I KNOW it is NOT easy to DISENGAGE.

But, I try as best as I can.

My first move of course was financial. I had to sit down with myself and see what was important to MY survival.

So, I cut out everything but essentials.
At the beginning I called credit card companies,, thinking I would be offered some help, and Just asked for help reducing Interest.
They did not, and DO NOT like that Idea, because it is one of the favorite traps used.
So, I explained it like this.
I have a bucket, They could stay at the top of the bucket, if they helped me, or sink to the bottom.
At the bottom of the Bucket is a hole, and so most went the way of the hole.
They offered NO HELP,, to me,, but to Banks, Car Company, and other assorted TO BIG TO FAILS,, TAX MONEY WAS GIVEN.
which brings us to the Taxman.
I Declared myself Exempt, so that no federal or state taxes were removed from my check, and quit filing returns.
This was survival Mode, as bad and idea as it might sound to others. If I had not, I would have Lost my home years ago. The IRS is nasty and of course has garnished my wages to get some of that, but I think the next time they try, I will just quit my job and go black. I refuse to willingly pay these bastards anymore.

THIS IS WHERE A LARGE % is needed.
STOP PAYING THE MONSTER. If everyone would just do this for 1 year,, they would have to reform.
When a Flat or Fair tax system is in place ( I would prefer a pay as you go system) I will gladly rejoin the Tax system willingly. I DO PAY TAXES SO DON"T START ABOUT THAT,, I Pay Property tax, and every tax that is on things I buy and consume. So, I think that is enough. Having done the math for myself,, I KNOW I AM TRIPLE IF NOT MORE TAXED DAILY JUST BY the way the system sucks us all dry.

but again, if everyone for one year said NOPE,, NO FED OR STATE FOR YOU,, Big Government Monster,, the Monster would be tamed very quickly.

Paying only bare essentials, I could live with my current job, which pays me about a third what I used to make, but Now, I am HAPPY TO GO TO WORK,, because it is something I love doing, Stress at Work NEAR GONE.
The House needs upkeep, and that also has been just essentials only based.
When My AC/Heat Pump died, I did not have the $4 to 6 thousand to replace the system like I need so, I went survival mode.

For my 2000 sq ft. home, I have 2 window units for air condition. Actually the Power Bill went down, and I still keep the house cool with a bit of ingenuity, dark curtains, and a few rooms hotter than the rest of the house.

For Heat, I use my fireplace and a kerosene heater, being in the south winters are not so rough, go this has worked great,
I would love to retro fit the house and go solar and remove myself from the grid, while here in the city.
Future plan. Solar water and power.

I garden organically. Compost my refuse. Recycle things that others think is just trash.
I do NOT SHOP TO BUY AND CONSUME.
I buy to survive.
So, Flea markets, thrift stores, yard sales are now my Superstores, and have been for now over 20 years,, I never was a Name brand freak, nor have I always bought the latest gadgets to keep up.
Most things are bought used, or bartered for now.

The TV has been turned off for years, and is only really used as a Computer monitor, and Movie theater now and then when I do relax and watch a movie. Best move ever. TURN IT OFF

Of course I have not had a 'real' vacation in a long while, but I get outdoors,, and enjoy the Earth while it is still marginally intact.

I bought a 1986 Ford Escort, with cash, and drive it. Walk when possible and am currently looking for a good bicycle to get for myself, maybe a scooter that requires no License, so I can ditch the drivers license if I wish.

Food, No NAME BRANDS, farmers markets, my own garden and friends gardens. I am vegetarian so meat is not an issue. Years ago, I planted fruit trees which are now helping with the addition of some fruit which is very nice. The Yard will eventually be a LIVE FOOD YARD, most everything I plant is medicinal or of food value.

Self Sufficient living is my goal.

On Bank TRANSFER DAY last year, I closed my Bank of America account,, (if i could get out of loan with them I would, and am working on that) and switched over totally to my Credit Union account. BEST MOVE

I Pay Cash for most things if possible.
Barter is on the upswing again, which I really like, and trade too.

These are a few things I am doing to remove myself from the CONSUMER MACHINE that has become America.

Most do not think it is that easy, and you are so correct that the poster of that comment HAD STEPPED out just by admitting recognition of the seemingly difficulty of said action.

The other problem is people are fearful of being Jumped on BY THE BIG GOVERNMENT so Fear Induced stagnation is a tool of the 'Tools" in charge.

You will truly know you are free when the majority questions your sanity, doesn't want to include you, and everything you learned to be true through indoctrination but was really false all along quits working no matter how hard you try and go back to it.

There is a period of total isolation and apartness from others that ensues that tends to drive people on this journey back to tribal mentality group think.(This is where most fail). Another thing that happens is many get side tracked down a rabbit trail into a bunch of nonsensical philosophical catch 22 academic scientific dogma.(Predictable responses like this is only your opinion or Deny Ignorance etc)
The Key is to stand your ground no matter what... then the shift happens. You actually become more powerful than the ones who rule over the many.
However, it requires help from others above 4d and they know when you are ready. Takes exactly what it takes basically.

I know I am sovereign, yet don't need a law to validate that for myself.
The Sovereign movement could use a redo I believe, and I find the whole Semantic game played by TPTB tiresome at this point.

They twist all laws to suit themselves and leave the common man in the dark about the true Nature of being a FREE Person.

Definitions are good only up to a point regarding some of this semantic game, and the common man is usually on the losing side of the game.

This is interesting stuff. I think it's funny that people feel the need for a government to recognize something for it to be real. Like a marriage, or money, or title. God(s), if it/they exist, created man and are not less than their creation. Likewise, men create governments, and are not less than their creation.

The freedom is in not only knowing the truth of what you are, but the freedom from having to be validated by anything or anyone else. Once this is attained, you can look at all that's going on from a much broader, less attached perspective. From this vantage point, there are fewer errors perceived. You can know who you are, with detachment, and you can find it interesting and absurd that any person or institution would demand you prove it.

"Sol"...the radiant master of our life on Earth, and namesake of our Stellar and Planetary system...
"mani"...a designed suffix meant to represent the word Human in a way that is plural, and flowing...it "sounds" right...to me anyway...

I consider myself to be Solmani, and this state is of no earthly borders... It is inclusive of all those who were born under, and enjoy the sovereign temporal light of Sol our life giving Star...

To me it represents everything about what it is to be Human...and no Country on Earth, (or off), can Govern away the basics of this rose of another name...

I fully plan on going totally off grid at some point. And yes, I do agree that disengaging to the point where it is total may become a needed part of my plan. But for now I want to get others to think about this in a Positive way.

The real Problem will not be that my own Government HUNTS me down or Imprisons me for such ideas I place into action in my life.

These are traits which are part and parcel to all Human Societies...
