F-16's don't fly around armed. They we're higher up but lower than they should have been. Looks almost like they we're scrambled out for something. Definitely had a jump in UFO sightings in the area in the past month. Which isn't normal. Looked like they were armed with sidewinders too.

I will not reveal my location but was seen in the area of West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.

What makes you think that military aircraft regularly fly around unarmed? When I was in the navy, every fighter that took off almost always had a load of missiles and ammo for the guns. I am willing to bet that the air force does the same thing.

Let me explain this to you and make sure you pay attention. Im in the Air Force. F-16's do not fly around armed normally. Bases don't randomly put up new millions of dollars worth radar system. Not going to tell you what is at my base...but it goes boom. A certain 747 likes to fly around here too.

So, armed F-16's in the area are a big deal.

I have the knowledge of where we are doing business in other countries. Africa is a big thing for the US right now. We are preparing for all at war. Very quietly though.

arguing without data make who look stupid.

who among us knows the difference between live ordnance and training dummies? who can tell the diff at 3000ft over head?

an air force guy that works on radar or a fireman knows the diff..

aim 9s have the heat seeking eye in the nose but I forgot my color stripe codes for live ordnance

I'm just curious, what do you do in the Air Force (not every one in the Air Force works on planes)? Anyway, I'm also in the US Air Force and from my experience as a Bomber Crew Chief (B-1 & B-2), we load our weapons bays up with armaments. Most times they are dummies, but not always. Sometime we practice with the real deal.

Also, since you mentioned you are in the area of D.C., it could have come from Andrews AFB, which I believe patrols with real armaments in case there is an air space infringement.

I'm not calling you out or anything, just giving my take on it.

Did any of the ordinance have blue stripes? I ask because usually (not always) that'll indicate
training/dummy round. (for those that don't know, they're filled with concrete so it'll have the same
weight.)

Andrews has also upgraded/updated the radar? That would explain the V-22s buzzing the "holler"
here 3 days in a row-and would bet tomorrow too........

The Osprey's have been coming from the S-SW every day and turn over the old Sago mine and head your
(DCs) way. Whether they finish out there or not I can't answer that, but if you saw the F16s around 4:00
today, that would be the most likely answer for it. The V22s flew over around 3:00-3:15 today.

Forgot to mention- I currently live in central WV, and usually the Ospreys don't fly over till late Aug.-early
Sept.

Well, good luck in finding the answer, but that's all the info I can give you from here without seeing
with my own eyes.
