Innerspace here we come
This is generally the trend and norm where many things are approved in the rest of the world but it makes it to the US at a much slower pace. Surely there are lots of reasons for the delay. Nevertheless hopefully a good technology which will save time and money on the diagnosis of patients with more accuracy. With the rising healthcare costs and patients, this would be much easier then to wait for diagnosis performed from the outside including blood tests, nurses and specialists providing their opinions only to charge a hefty sum (though the insurance is paying for the most part).

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved an ingestible digital sensor that can be swallowed in a pill to track health data from inside the body. The idea is that the data can be used not only by patients themselves, but also by caregivers and doctors to individualize their care.
