But I need a lot of you to help.
Please help me free the human race from tyranny once and for all.
Just stop doing stuff. Halt all unnecessary activity.

I like this idea. I agree that violence is exactly what they want. Let's not give them the fuel to start the final phase. It's all they need now that the NDAA is in place.

I can't believe how calm that cop was explaining this. They "must have missed" the gun? Does he actually think that sounds plausible in the least? Where is the FBI? I don't recall anything about the cop being investigated or even placed "on leave" while they sort this out. I'll bet that car got thoroughly cleaned up within a couple of hours after this "suicide".

I hope this doesn't get dropped that easily.

sick system we have, no wonder everyone is edgy and buckin the system! Shame Clinton was last decent President, probably will never have a decent President again by the looks of how they ran the system into the ground and tarnished the American dream with loopholes and endless corruption at every turn. No one can even really trust one another now!
As that defector from Russia said in the 80's, "Wow, what a country!" -quoted from:Yakov Smirnoff
Whatever happened to Yakov Smirnoff, did he go back to Russia when SHTF here? Wait, no, he's professor now around Pennsylvania!

You and I don't agree on much (based on past threads/posting), but I am with you 100% on this matter.

This was cold blooded murder, pure and simple. I posted the article on my FB page earlier this evening to... surprise... no responses.

Why are people acting like things like this don't happen? When are we, as a nation, going to 'wake up' and hold our elected and hired officials to a higher standard?

This 'officer' should be arrested and tried for murder, period.

It is bigger then that now. The whole police department is involved in the coverup and aught to be held criminally liable.

This is a horrible murder, a young man cut down, for what, maybe a sarcastic statement? Either way, the way they are trumping up the digital scale, low amount of pot and the "mysterious" and unitdentified white powder(get the paranormal squad to investigate since they police can't identify what the powder is).

Either way, the Governor of that state needs to declare martial law for the area, and send the national gaurd in to replace the murderous police department there.

P.S

Look at the interview where the police chief tries to say's more or less about "if your not used to hardened criminal's, it would surprise you what they can do in them handcuffs". Look at his eye's, something ain't right and in the end there will be hell to pay for that town by the time the truth get's out.

There is no way someone who is cuffed behind the back can get his hands up to his head to shoot himself!
This is murder pure and simple! Whatever the reason is we may never know why these police did this!
I am willing to bet that this will be labeled a suicide, no investigation will ever be performed and if one is, it will be a farce! Was there a video camera in the squad car that can shed some light on this incident! Even if the camera was pointed in the forward direction we would still hear audio of an altercation! When will justice be served for those of us just trying to survive?

Here is an update on the shooting. To be honest this should be an easy case to solve in regards to forensic evidence. The blood splatter in this case should be on the ceiling of the car if he shot himself. At least more so than anything. Should also be able to get gun powder residue off of the victim as well.

Did you notice how that police reenactor's head barely came to the top of the cruiser's door? What was he, 5 feet tall? Using a contortionist Hobbit to reenact the "suicide" is hardly convincing. Makes me wonder why the police department would even resort to such a measure, shouldn't the forensic analysis (like powder burns, etc.) prove their case alone? Is the police department trying to win public opinion by such propagandist tactics? Better yet, instead of releasing a video of a diminutive reenactor, how about releasing the dashcam video/audio? Even if the cameras were pointing in the wrong direction, they still pick up audio of what's going on in the backseat, and may tell us where the police officers were approximately. I find the lack of public disclosure of such video.... unsettling.

I just watched the video reenactment and I am still calling BS. All those people was purposely allowed room to twist their hands around to the front after their wrists was cuffed back to back. Whats the point in double locking if you're going to allow so much slack they can slip the cuffs up to their forearms?? I mean seriously?? They could probably just slip their hands out at that point! ROFL That's a contradiction. They find weed, but fail to find a .380 pistol in his back pocket after two searches... They hear a thump, but fail to here a gunshot... Kid makes a phone call prior to his GF and tells her he will call later... Even if all this did happen as the police says it happen it's still negligence and they should get double time for stupidity.

I was wondering why more people did not bring this up. The other thing is the bullet itself. Which gun did it come from and who was that gun registered to on initial sale. After that a simple polygraph test of the officers involved and there we go. Seems pretty easy to deduce from just those few things. Why aren't more people focused on the actual evidence instead of the contortionist story.

These fools need to be put in general population prison. No paid vacation. No parole.

Dash cam video released!

Dash cam video released of night Chavis Carter died (VIDEO)

The video shows the white truck being pulled over. The video captures the moments after the shooting, including witness interviews. What's missing? Only the part where the suspect allegedly shot himself, and the immediate aftermath where the officer allegedly finds the suspect in the car slumped over...

You can see the White Truck pulled over by Jonesboro Officer Ron Marsh’s car. Marsh gets out and heads over to the Passenger side where Chavis Carter gets out the car. Two other men are also in the truck. The audio on this dash cam is inaudible at times, but parts of the conversation are audible. On the footage, we hear Marsh ask if Carter has ID before patting him down and escorting him to the back of the patrol car. From inside the cruiser, we hear an officer quiz Carter once again about his ID. Also in this video, we can clearly see a bag of what is reportedly drugs sitting on the hood of the cruiser. What is not clearly seen or heard on the tape is a gunshot. Nor is there any dash cam video or audio of officer Marsh finding Carter shot in the backseat.

Hmm... how could the dash cam catch what's going on before the gunshot, catch what's going on after the gunshot - but FAIL to capture the actual gunshot? Did the police department release the video of the midget contortionist recreating how a person might twist their arms around while handcuffed to buy themselves enough time to edit the police dash cam and remove incriminating evidence against themselves?

Autopsy results are in and they ruled it as a suicide per KATV.

The report says the manner of death was ruled a suicide based on autopsy findings and investigative conclusions from the Jonesboro police department.

I think we need to call the DA's office and move for an internal affairs investigation at the least. if these cops did kill him, they need to be held accountable.

I have only read the first page of the thread:

And, I am NOT justifying the actions of police (and i have enough critical posts to attest to that), BUT i would like to point out that it is not impossible to shoot oneself in the head while handcuffed. This does depend, however, on the angle of the wound and does NOT explain the fact that trained LEOs missed a freakin' gun after TWO searches. I've been handcuffed, and i was able to get a cell phone out of my pocket, flip it open, dialed a number, and put it to my ear...while in the back of a patrol car. If i can do that, a determined person can put a gun to his or her hand.

Just saying.

Once again i am NOT saying that the official story is true, just that:

I am simply pointing out that a left handed hand-cuffed person *can* shoot oneself in the right side of the head. It's not impossible.

BUT this story is still extremely fishy, nevertheless.

The vid I saw used 4 officers. Height ranged from 5.2 to 6.2. The guy was essentially the same size as one of the cops. I dont think it at all hard to believe he could have shot himself in the car.

I am a little troubled that there was no video during the shooting and subsequent discovery. Eyewitnesses basically corroborate officer testimony though I dont trust eyewitnesses. Then again I cant imagine the cop being dumb enough to shoot guy in handcuffs in the back of his car, especially in front of people.

Arkansas lab didn't perform residue test [in the shooting death of 21-year-old Chavis Carter]
(The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas' state crime lab says it didn't perform gunshot residue testing on a man fatally shot in the head while handcuffed in a patrol car because it doesn't do that kind of analysis on victims of homicides or suicides.

Jonesboro Police Chief Michael Yates told The Associated Press that the department had requested gunshot residue testing in the shooting death of 21-year-old Chavis Carter.

The lab's chief criminalist, Lisa Channell, told the AP that kind of the testing can indicate whether a person was in an environment with gunshot residue, but not whether he or she pulled the trigger of a gun.

The crime lab's policy is not new. A 2001 memo sent to law enforcement officers said being in close proximity to a gun when it's fired can lead to positive gunshot residue test results and that negative gunshot residue results don't mean someone didn't fire a gun.

Still, Irwin questioned why the test wasn't conducted.

"To me, that's horrible," he said.

Police previously released video recorded from dashboard cameras the night of the shooting, but the footage didn't appear to show when officers found Carter slumped over and bleeding in the backseat of a patrol car as described in a police report.

Police said there were problems with the audio and video that explain the absence of a gunshot or noise on the recordings.

Oh c'mon, now on top of the Dash Cam video missing the crucial moment, the police lab decides NOT to test for gunpowder residue, either on the victim or the officers. Seems like we are getting more and more police spin on this case.

We have:
  • A dash cam video that captures video moments before the fateful shooting, and moments after the fateful shooting, but NOT the actual shooting. "Police said there were problems with the audio and video that explain the absence of a gunshot or noise on the recordings."
  • No gunpowder residue tests were performed - especially on officers that might have exonerated them. Lame excuse offered.

While I do find it weird they didn’t test for GSR (in my county when foul play is a concern we bag the hands of the deceased to preserve any evidence DNA, GSR and samples are taken by the medical examiner)

I find it even weirder that out of that whole article you found only the things that back up your claims that the cops must have done it. Hell even the mom’s attorney is changing his stance from the cops did it to one that says the cops were negligent.

"I think the critical points still remain that this young man was in police custody," he said. "He lost his life at a time when they had a responsibility and duty to protect him."

Which I will not argue.

The girlfriend of a man who was fatally shot in the back of an Arkansas patrol car told an investigator that he called her from the car and said he had a gun with him, police said Wednesday.

Carter's girlfriend also told the investigator that Carter said he loved her and that he was scared, according to the police statement, which did not identify the woman. Phone records showed Carter made two calls, at least one of which was from the back of the patrol car, police said

I guess they missed a cell phone during the initial search too.

Officers and bystanders said the patrol car doors and windows were closed and that the officers weren't near the car until Carter was found, police said.

I suppose the witnesses are being threatened by the police and that’s why they are confirming the police reports.

Lastly here is a link to CNN’s latest on this. I like how they are still trying to spin the possibility of the officers doing it into their story still.

www.cnn.com...

The lead investigator interviewed Carter's girlfriend Wednesday, police said, and she told him that Carter called her from the police car, said he loved her, that he was frightened and had a gun. The girlfriend's name is not mentioned in the release.

Police said they discovered a .380-caliber Cobra semi-automatic pistol when they found Carter's body slumped over.

Why WOULDN'T they test for GSR on the officers hands/arms? That should have been a priority to eliminate even the remotest chance they were involved in this 'suicide'.

Plus the dash cam video SKIPS over the moment the gun goes off? WTF!!!

Police can spin tales, hard to ignore those two "coincidences".
