Watch Ramayana anime on english today.

I came across this anime and I have watched the first 20 minutes.
It was made in the year 1992 and the animation seem medium quality for that epoch.
So far it is pleasing. It might help focusing the meditation on Sri Vishnu and his incarnations.

The original Ramayana by Valmiki is very long, 7 volumes I think. It's hard to imagine they could get all of that in 2 hours. Do you think they did a good job in making the content faithful to the original writings?

Yes 2 hours for this epic is not much. But sadly I had not the chance to read the original in its full extent either.
So far it is a fantasy approach to the subject matter.
When Ravana flies with Sita in his flying chariot well that it is what it is and not a machine like the AA theory.
Until now I am surprised by the quality of the video not as bad as I thought in the beginning. You can compare the animation with Macross II from the same year also japanese.
The Audio is also very good.
