As you read such awful accounts as these are you not aware that nobody is taking meaningful action agaist this steady encroachment upon your basic liberties?

How much longer are you going to cooperate? What's it going to take before you finally do something about it? Or do you feel hapless, helpless, and hopeless in the face of such adversity; of such a formidable enemy as Zionism has shown itself to be?

Bear this in mind as you contemplate your dismal future while at the mercy of the Zionist cabal that controls your every move, and your every action - you had a hand in it all: in your own subjugation and eventual enslavement when you decided you didn't need a saviour anymore. HOWEVER, they were searching the homes of those who were commiting vandalism including but not limited to breaking business windows and defacing the state capital bulding.

They were confiscating flagmaking materials because protesters were screwing bolts to the tops of their flags to aid in the destruction of others property.

I'm all for protests, but don't causing collateral damage.

Could it be more gov't control scheming, probably, I won rule that out. Could it be that protesters are going beyond their rights and causing destruction, yeah, that too.

Not entirely sure why, its still suspicious. I just thought that the omission of a bunch of key details in the name of sensationalist fear mongering/once-sided incitement of a public viewpoint was afoot. A two-minute fact check proved this. Just wanted to spread the word, and look at both sides of the story. Unfortunately, at the current length of this thread, it would be nice to see more people do the same.

There is a lot of fear mongering going on nowadays and we have to be careful how we sift through the stories that reach us.

Thanks for your post. Is this about the same "black bloc anarchists" who did damage on the 4th of July? And at other events, too. It seems that the Occupy Movement was being slammed for the acts of that portion of the group, who wanted more violent and criminal forms of protest.

I agree, it is an intense situation that must be monitored so that we aren't snoozing more of our rights away, however, criminal behavior is actionable by law enforcement, even in the name of free speech and protest (and they may have crossed state lines and been in protests in other locations doing similar stuff, like Chicago?, which would mean an FBI presence would be more understandable.) Again, not to deny anyone's right to free speech, assembly or protest, but as you say, "going beyond their rights and causing destruction," may be the actual problem.

I know ATS will keep a close and watchful eye...

Humm, does anyone know what activities these people were doing? I think there might be more to this.
I don't trust the government anymore, and unless Obama got his wishes for "indefinite detention with no proof for any violence or criminal act", we might be jumping to conclusions.

A few of the items mentioned, such as black clothing, masks, etc could be used for robberies, so MAYBE these people were suspect because of some sort of proof that they did something?

We can't just take the word of anyone, this in itself could even be an attempt by the government to get people to protest violently, rioting and THEN using this as the real excuse to implement more draconian legislation.

Sounds like "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury with the searching for books to me. Especially the part that goes “criminals seeking an ideology to justify their activities," because in the book people are searched for books that promote free thinking and these people being called anarchist are just acting on what they believe in.

No seriously though yeah this is outrageous. Honestly though are we surprised? Most of us on ATS have seen this coming for quite awhile now.

On another serious note - My stuff really is encrypted. The main drive is encrypted with Truecrypt, then I use a Virtual Machine (linux) that is encrypted by VMware, and then the volume inside that virtual machine is also encrypted. Can never be to safe that's what I say. It's not really as bothersome as some would think. You only need two moderately long passwords (about 20 characters).

If you people are interested in securing your information - which I would take seriously - google it up!

Did they call for violent action in their pamphlets? Threatening government institutions whom somebody elected to represent them with violence is illegal.

However thats not how the story is worded, question now is, is the way the story is worded the way things went down, or were they going after a group advocating violence?

They're looking for the paint, clothes (and other items) that were worn during the painting.

Basically, somebody got caught spray-painting government property and that's what this warrant appears to pertain to.

Someone decided to cherry-pick one aspect of the warrant and spread that around.

Because they were peace loving, they were simply "sitting ducks", and used as such for "target practice" by one lone aggressive gun loving individual.

Now, we want people to be able to choose. Either live peacefully without arms, or live as you wish with all the arms you'd like. Except, these two things are incompatible activities in the same space.

A person cannot enjoy the freedom of peace, if his neighbor is exercising his freedom to fight.

Therefore , we've built these FEMA camps, to relocate all the aggressive individuals, to a special place they can call their own. They will be given arms, whatever they wish, and allowed to live however they like with their new neighbors, who like them, believe in arms, and love the fight.

The peace loving remainder, will dwell separately, so as to have no contact with the aggressive ones, and in this way, both types of individual will be able to enjoy his freedom.

There will be no sitting ducks in the FEMA camps. All will be armed. Draw your weapon at your own risk.

I read the article and it seems they were going after the Black Bloc, which are fake, wanna be, thugs with flags. Still, that's very vague list of "incriminating evidence".

I'm an Anarcho Cap myself (Yellow & Black) and I would really hate to think they're going after all "Anarchists" because that could in a sense be me.
