In a symbolic rejection of US capitalism, Bolivia announced it will expel the Coca-Cola Company from the country at the end of the Mayan calendar. This will mark the end of capitalism and usher in a new era of equality, the Bolivian govt says.
“December 21 of 2012 will be the end of egoism and division. December 21 should be the end of Coca-Cola,” Bolivian foreign minister David Choquehuanca decreed, with bombast worthy of a viral marketing campaign.
In Colombia, this very same soft drinks company is having to face fierce
criticism: Sinaltrainal, the food industry’s trade union, is accusing Coca
Cola of being involved in the murder of eight union members and
suspects this company and several others of being too closely linked to
the paramilitary.

Also Bolivia has a state owned drink, which is a rip off off Coca Cola but obviously uses coca leaves, thus boosting production. Eliminating Coca Cola helps Boliva economicaly and socialy as the real proffits are not being funneled back to wall street and out of bolivia.

Sprite is made by the Coca-Cola Company...
Don't fret, they'll find another country to dessimate and poison. Your beverages will not change, just a shift in damage from one country to another

Not a day goes by without some feeble-minded socialist offering yet another serving of their delusional lose-lose philosophy. "Lets ban coke and await the mayan enlightenment".
