If you take some time and research what the Age of Aquarius is supposed to be about, (as opposed to the Age of Pisces or Aries or Taurus - ages that have already occurred in our human history) you'll see that logic and extreme rationality are the descriptive standards that repeat again and again. This is just the nature of Aquarius, just as the nature of Pisces is mystical and esoteric (spiritual intuitive) aptly describes the last 2,000 years of human dealings with the larger questions about life and reality.

This is why I see what I'm seeing about the potential ramifications of this Dec 21 date failing to be the end or beginning of anything perceptible as most of us know that it will.

It's the media that have pumped 2012 into some kind of doomsday scenario where something big will happen on one day, when really, that's never been claimed whatsoever. It's simply once cycle ends, the other begins. Any perceived or non-perceived changes will probably happen very gradually. The "debunkers" will love when nothing big happens that day, and they'll shout "ha, told ya!", but I'd advance they they didn't really understand the significance of the date in the first place.

It's funny, the OP mentions logical thinking etc. then goes on to mention the "age of Aquarius" which blindly states that it coincides with dec.21. If you look at the astronomical claims of transition of the ages from pieces to Aquarius, we are still in the region of pieces as of Dec.21st 2012. We are only somewhat exiting it and "shifting" if you will , into the the constellation of Aquarius, which will take hundreds of years to be fully "emerged" into the constellation of Aquarius.

You speak strictly in black and white terms, like it's a "law" that those things are going to end and that the latter will define every aspect post 2012. This is untrue. Humanity should rather take both of the concepts you speak of and come to a number of realizations.

Our current rationalism, logic, technology and objective reality is flawed and undeveloped. It will only be complete once the free thinkers in science, logic, technology and rationalism find explanations for the "esoteric" concepts of reality (mysticism, the astral realm, telepathy etc.). The only thing we must end is "closed minded thinking" because it retards the progression of humanity. Free thinkers and those with open minds are the ones who bring the greatest scientific, spiritual and technological advancements to humanity. The close minded think "current humanity knows it all, this is the way it will be forever". The open minded think "humanity does not know all, there is mystery we must solve". What's more logical to you?

The era of the internet has already put an end to secret knowledge and prophecy, things which were once hidden from mainstream society are now for all globally. We already have a logical, rational world. To the undeveloped human being, these things are incompatible. We have the logic orientated people (lacking understanding of the esoteric/ascension concepts) saying to the ascension/esoteric orientated "Hah, you're all wrong and lack logic" and the ascension/esoteric orientated saying "Hah, you're wrong, and lack our understanding".

If only they would listen to each other, instead of being blindly entrenched in their belief systems. So you can't say that dec.21 will or will not deliver prophecy. The current logic of humanity is ironically illogical because of close minded behavior on all sides that shuts out any further development or understanding. The logical skeptic scoffs at the prophets without investigation thinking that current scientific notions explain everything. The undeveloped spiritual mind scoffs at the logic/science believing such things are incompatible with spirituality. This is classic dualism which has been a reoccurring theme of humanity for quite some time now...

We have reached such a level of development that for any progression many concepts in dualism will need to unite. Anyone gravitating towards any polarity will find themselves increasingly isolated and undeveloped. Only those who harmonize polarity of all concepts in reality will progress to the true potential of the human being.

People wil wake up and say to themselves "oh, nothing happened' then eat their frosties, head off to work and never look back... Just look at the whole turn of the millennium crap.... I know you're factoring in the whole religious angle in this and, I see your point but, surely, having spent time on here and in the real world, meeting 'believers' of any religion, you must realise that the small matter of something central to their belief being proven to be utter bull# isn't going to change their minds.... belief perseverance is a funny thing... It's an observable and testable psychological phenomenon and I see no reason why it won't cotinue to be applicable in this case....
