50 police officers arrested in child porn raids

www.dailymail.co.uk

Fifty police officers across the UK have been arrested as part of a crackdown on suspected paedophiles who pay to access child pornography websites, detectives revealed today.

The officers were among 1,300 people arrested on suspicion of accessing or downloading indecent images of children - some as young as five - from US-based Internet sites.

Thirty-five men were arrested in London this morning as part of the investigation - codenamed Operation Ore - following raids on 45 addresses across the capital.

Of the 50 policemen identified, eight have been charged to date and the remainder

Even though this is sickening news we can't jump to conclusions and automatically assume all of these people are guilty so I will assume innocent until proven guilty. There was enough evidence to arrest these people though so I'm guessing that most of them are guilty.

It's a shame that the people who are there to protect us don't always act that way. I'm glad they made these arrests and the police claim to have identified some at risk youth so there is some good in all of this.

If these sickos are guilty I hope they have the book thrown at them. I wonder if any of these arrested officers have ever arrested anyone for similar crimes, that would be ironic.

And once again the worst cases of organised crime come straight from the Police.

Phew! I thought it was our US police involved. At least here in the US OUR police just beat, threaten, and in a lot of cases kill you. Not sick and twisted like across the pond

Seriously, does this surprise any one any more. WAY TOO COMMON nowadays for my liking.

A paedophile and a police man, combination like that's going to make prison time rather uncomfortable. Sickens me it's so often people in authority, if it's not priests then it's policemen, terrible.

I think if the world ever knew just how many peadophiles there were and the positions they hold, there would be an instant revolution in every country in the world by the few of us who were left.

Yes, it IS that bad.
They are everywhere and it is a sickness that is so easy to hide and so hard to prove that many people could come right out and admit it and wouldn't be believed. There are child sex rings in this world that would make drug trafficking look like a childs lemonade stand.

It's all smoke and mirrors. They make a bust of the low hanging fruits once in a while to appease the masses. Meanwhile, kids still dissapear left and right all over the world....

This is an idea I have often thought about.
When you dig around the subject you find that it stinks worse then anything you have ever smelt before.
There is no doubt in my mind that paedophiles can be found in the highest positions of influence and power all around the world.
We can see this in many ways, particularly in how the laws are so laxed on the issue while people who smoke a plant can get decades in jail.

Its something I do not like to think about anymore.

Exactly, people should never expect the top dogs to get caught; especially when it is regarding pedo rings.

Oh my god! 50 cops??!!

You can bet your life this is only the tip of a huge iceberg!
Somebody somewhere has called timeout on activities that are most likely well known in inner circles & because such a large number of supposedly 'trustworthy' people have been pulled in, there is a good chance that this will lead to even nastier revelations in the near future.

This bit got me....

From the Daily Mail:

At a press conference at Scotland Yard today, Jim Gamble, assistant chief constable of the National Crime Squad, said he was not surprised at the number of police officers among the suspects.

Hells bells, where is this going??

I can attest in part to the truth of this. I have a relative that works in civilian admin for the police & she was STAGGERED by the number of registered offenders within her police region. This sh#t is absolutely endemic, the public has no idea of the huge scale of this problem.

They mention in the article that it was "operation ore" which as my google tells me was in 1999 with a follow up in 2001 in the US.

Wiki - operation ore

So while it's not new news, it still makes horrifying reading 10 years later.

Wrong, the US and UK are very similar and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Ever wonder why kids who are taught to not trust strangers go missing.......

You have a very warped view of society. There are not massive pedo clubs all over the world, there is a minuscule minority of society who are quite severely twisted in this way.

This is why I hate stories like this, it scares people into thinking the problem is gigantic. It makes people suspicious of everyone. It creates a society where the view of a person is distorted and twisted so much that neighbours suspect people of things they would never ever remotely be capable of.

As for the story itself, I lost trust in the police when I saw the figures for the number of deaths in custody. Or was it the time they were caught assaulting someone on video? Maybe it was when they killed that guy in the protest and then tried to cover it up. No, it was the time they were caught on film dragging a disabled man from his wheelchair. No, my mistake, it was the time they were caught selling information to the tabloids. Oh, wait, it was the time they were filmed riding on horseback into a crowd of protesters and beating students over the head.

Well, whichever one of those instances it was, it made me realize that the vast majority of police are simply organized criminals in their own special club where they all look out for each other and do whatever they need to do to assert their Mafia-like dominance over the population.

I wonder if any justice will be served here in the us.

And yet the most influential and powerful group in the world actively protects and supports paedohphiles.

Laws for paedophilia are so laxed that pedos are back on the street in no time, while victimless crimes and get people decades in jail.

Paedophiles are protected in many different organizations, corporations and groups all around the world.

It is estimated that 90% of child rape cases never get reported by the child, which generally means they never ever get exposed.

In the US alone there are hundreds of thousands of child rape cases in the Catholic church alone!
