There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

What if I don't think it's bad to go on a shooting rampage? What if my tribe of cannibals do not think it's bad to murder the missionary and his family so we can have a big barbeque? What about the men who flew planes into the WTC buildings, was that "good" since they thought it was?

I looked for this quote that you attribute to me but did not find it.
I want to check the context. Link me up please or tell where it is.

No I was quoting member "itsnowagain" who in that quote was replying to you. If you hit the green link in the post above that I made it should take you directly to the post I quoted.

ETA: okay, that did not work. His post which I quoted appears on the previous page.

You assume that mans true nature is evil and that he has to learn to be good.
'Good' is the problem. Everyone wants to be 'good'. They want to look good to others, whether the 'other' is a person, or to look good in the eyes of God. If you are good you will be rewarded, if you are bad you will be punished, isn't that the deal?
But how can you really know what is good or bad? It is just a judgement that you personally make, it divides what is into what it 'should be' (according to my judgement). The 'should' be is a lie. The 'should be' separates you from what is real. This separation is felt as poverty.

In reality there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
Then you invent a 'what if' senario. The 'what if?' is 'thinking'.
What is wrong with right now........unless you 'think' about it?

Humans have the words 'good' and 'bad' and lay judgement on all they see and hear. The judgement is what they experience as life. Life is happening as is and humans label it and believe the label they have laid upon it. Humans cannot see or hear, humans judge, criticise and condem.

You are just making up 'what if' senarios.
'Making up', inventing something that is not true is done by the mind - thinking.

Do you believe that you would beable to kill me? Just because you want to prove me wrong you come up with 'I could kill you if it is not considered evil', You think people would all be killers if the words good and evil did not exist??

I could easily kill you. Now, if I thought that were good would it then be good since I did not think it's evil?

And btw, i'm using a reductio ad absurdum to illustrate in a practical example what a "relativist fallacy" is.

Ok - this is your 'belief'.

If you did kill me it would be what is. It could be labelled by the human mind (thinking) as good or bad, it is realative to the person.
Everything is just happening but humans label things as good and bad but there is no real, solid, good or bad, it depends on where you are standing.

It's not relative to the person. Google "relativist fallacy".

That's my point.

Why are you getting bent over a hypothetical illustration? But yes, one bullet to the head by a military trained person would "easily" do the trick.

You said you can easily kill me. Now you tell me a trained military person would 'easily' do the trick.
Do you really believe 'you' could kill me easily???
