It is factually correct because that income tax introduces new wealth by the private sector to cover the difference of those people who get paid by other peoples tax revenue of that minority.

The topic was about a bill for income tax. and it was clearly established that +-50 pays zero income tax they sure as hell do not pay tax on food, school, healthcare, and other "freebies".

You know everything else that evil "1 percent is".

Again....FEDERAL TAXES. They pay plenty of other taxes

And of course you keep on dodging the FACT that there's a good reason why they CAN'T AFFORD to pay federal (!!!) income taxes.

Twist it how you want, but claiming 50% pay no taxes is a blatant lie

Liberals want taxes on the rich.
Conservatives want to tax the poor.

Who do you think can afford to be taxed?

Personally we need tax reform.
You make X pay 20%.
If you're a corporation, make X - business expenditures pay 20%.
Done.
No need for complicated tax law.
The tax needs to be fair for everyone.

Good point.
In Florida everyone pays a sales tax on every purchase.

Did you even read what i posted? Ive been talking about federal taxes this whole time. Please highlight the section where im talking about some "other" tax.

Let me give you a hint. you wont find it because its not there.

Stop defending the hard left, step out of the box, and educate yourself. I’m not saying this to be mean. Really educate yourself so you don’t sound like a drone with the wrong facts.

Again im not trying to be mean.

Edit: the person that stared you needs to read what i wrote too. I say nothing about other taxes. Im talking Federal taxes. hahaha, the Ignorance blows my mind.

Its hard to belive but a leftys greatest enemy is the truth.

And dont call me some rightwinger to, im not, Im a Libertarian. I find libertarian are outside of the Left vs Right propaganda machine. My goal here is to turn your from a lefty to a Informed Libertarian.

EDIT: now you have two stars, thats 3 people that did not even read anything i wrote, close your eyes, plug your ears, blab blab blab blab blab..... i cant hear you, blab blab blab blab.....

Virtually every member of the GOP has vowed not to do this...See the problem is that closing those loop-holes that benefit their wealthy patrons = "raising taxes" and Grover Norquist will have none of it.

Strawman the issue as always is raising the tax of others instead of themselves that was rather clear

The causation of lower income and poverty is created by the same policies/ideology that is suppose to "help" them.

Not my fault when someone's political ideology is clouding their common sense.

Wow ...geez...I suppose that the 300Million plus, 99% of Americans that pay tax everytime they buy gas, groceries, rent or own real estate and every other time they pay for anything...are due a refund on those taxes???? Lets not count payroll tax either...

Wow...geez...the OP addressed only income taxes from what I read so let's stick to the topic here, or create another thread? Just an idear.

And I wouldn't know, because I wouldn't be a government leech, but there are probably programs out there for the entitlement society (that borders at least 1/3 of the population at least), I would speculate, doesn't pay taxes on their food stamp grocery purchases or their HUD rentals or mortgages. Never mind their Medicaid Health Costs.

And definitely not payroll tax for the ever obvious reason. Unless they are employing others and taking it under the table. Wow...geez...they could avoid that tax altogether, then, couldn't they?

Oh....kindly point me where you differentiated between Federal Income Taxes and "taxes" when you dropped this turd of a debunked claim...glad you know the difference now..

Repeat, repeat, repeat: How can you raise taxes on the poor (+/- 50% of the U.S.) when they have never paid taxes in their lives, instead dependent on the government system itself?

So is everyone just gonna ignore why they can't afford federal income taxes?

Nobody outraged at income growth of the top 1% (or 5%) vs the rest?

If you expect some of us to just be so mad just because other people have more than others?

Well not in kindergarten anymore sometimes people just need to grow up that green eyed monster jealousy is a wasted emotion.

No clue.
Close the loophole. I'm fine with that.

But to take money away from people who might actually need that. And then give that money to the rich in tax cuts.
The rich don't need tax cuts.

Should of taken that money to enforce laws already on the books.

The rich don't need tax cuts, the middle class don't need tax breaks.

I wish government would stop using taxes as either a carrot or a stick!

A flat tax is a fair tax. No loopholes, no tax breaks, no exemptions, no credit for this, that, the other.

Beezers tax form.

1. How much did you make?
2. Multiply by 15%.
3. Pay that.

HOW FRACKING SIMPLE CAN I MAKE IT?

It's not a matter of "having more"...but if Buffet's secretary pays more taxes than him something's clearly wrong. And if over 25 years the income of average Americans grows 23 times (!!!) less than that of the top 5% something is wrong too. This has nothing to do with kindergarden jealousy, it's COMMON SENSE

Yeah personally think the income tax should be done away with no income tax for anyone and then they will stop trying to use as a wedge issue for elections.

So are you just going to ignore the fact that 49.7% of americans dont pay taxes? or just ignore my post in me asking you to point out the section where i talk about "other" taxes, because i still cant find it.

Your right, the gap is getting larger and larger but you need to look at the source of the problem, goverment and power. And this talking point is so large i dont even want to tackle it at the moment. it comes down to people working for the government being bought and paid for to pass laws that help keep those in power to stay in power.

look at the banking sector, 3/4 of those CEO in the large banking sectors should be doing life in jail, but they have friends in high places so you would never see it happen.

Government Is corrupt, because its corrupt its easily bought and sold to sway votes. Take down the corruption in government, the makers of laws in the land, and the corrupt banks fall with them.

At that point your going to need more jail cells.

another major problem is the people not giving a D***. They care about football or dancing with the stars. Nothing’s going to change. The people have officially been dumbed down by our education system. no one knows or cares that there money is going to turn to dust in the coming years because of this out of control spending.

Then the question is...is the insane and rapidly growing income disparity in the United States a result of a government that offers advantages, loop-holes, tax breaks and subsidies to wealthy individuals and corporations?

Can a corrupt referee effect the outcome of a game?

If the roulette wheel was a 50-50% chance of winning, red or black...absent that green place holder on the wheel, would the casino's still get rich?

Not envy...but a call for economic equal opportunity and a fair playing field...not paying our fair share while the Romney's of the world hide the money they have collected from us in the Caymans to avoid giving any of it back

Stop seriously buffets secretary gets a salary and Buffets income is capital gains which means if the stock market tanked he would lost everything in a heartbeat.

Stocks carrier an inherit risk that no one should even think about basing an income structure off of. hell during the so called finanical crisis trillions were lost.

Still do not understand how some people not getting the fact that a majority is receiving more benefits than they are paying into.

That is why the continual attempts at nickle and diming to make up the difference from the minority, and where that tax revenue generated just gets blown, and they rinse and repeat the cycle.

I blame liberals quite frankly give the fact the more educated people are the more money they make, and since the creation of the Department of Uneducated there has been decrease of wealth with the increase of billions thrown to supposedly make them smarter.
