Two new crop circles appeared over night in Wiltshire

A comment as been posted that the second one is the chemical structure for Vitamin A

Isn't the first one the symbol for the game Quake?

If not, well, it seems similar.

not quite the quake logo but very similar

it reminds me of the Islamic crescent moon and star

I have always wondered which star that is

crop circles are cool even the fake ones
not saying this is fake/or real

It actually seems to be modeled after retinoic acid.

Source: Wikipedia

I've labeled the appropriate atoms and double bonds that seem to be modeled in the crop circle.

Nice artistic representation of a molecule

The crop circle community id full of people pretending to know what they are on about, one person says something that not true and then its gets repeated 1000's of times.

I am no expert by any means but I looked up the vitamin A thing and wasnt convinced
I must say from an amatures point of view your interpretation is more convincing
Now what does it all mean ?

I believe it is "a nice artistic representation of a molecule."

It could just be a coincidence, but the placement of the tiny circles around the larger circles seem to represent hydrogen atoms bonded to carbon atoms.

No telling what message, if any, the original creators were trying to get across.

I guess it means that whoever made the design wanted it to look like a molecule. People who make crop circles are always looking for new symbolism to put in their designs. It make people think they have important hidden meaning.
