I've been reading all of these threads about the NWO and signs of its coming, blah blah blah...

But I'm just curious, what's so bad about a new world order? Global Unity, a centralized worldwide monetary system and healthcare, worldwide security...I can see so many positive ways to spin a one-world government, and so little as a negative.

All the down sides I've seen, are all stuff that are already happening. From what I can tell, we already get all the bad stuff without any of the good of having it. Can anyone actually tell me what is so bad about a one world government? I mean some logical reasoning that isn't just a bunch of negative conspiracy theory and random guesses about "what could" happen?

It just seems like everyone is just looking at the concept through the eyes of a bias and negative lens. Am I wrong? Does anyone feel like I do?

Instead of fighting it, why can't we just help build it better? Instead of stopping it based on negative projections, why can't we fight for world unity and assure that we are part of building a better solution instead of trying to stop it out of fear of what could be?

Get rid of indefinite detention, i.e slavery, and a SANE leader, and maybe we will talk.....

Well, obviously the enormous downside is that when that one government inevitably get's really bad at some point, what other government/military is left to help the people? None.

Anyone ever felt like they just walked in to rob a bar....to find they were in a cop bar?

Just sayin'..

Hey, to your topic though. No, We can't. Ever. To my last breath on Earth, Never. Why? My nation has a constitution many up my family tree fought for and a few died for. I'm not going to be the one to betray what they sure thought was worth all that.

Your assumption that a one world government would be positive and have many "good things" is just as bias and based on fantasy as you claim others of being...

Its ALL ideological and experimental. There is no guarantee that "what we want" will come to fruition...There is no guarantee that it won't be a socialist state where were all in the same boat together regardless of our personal goals, ambitions, desires...

There is no guarantee that any of it will be as positive as you seem to think it might be...and because of that; for many, its not worth the attempt. Once you have a one world government infrastructure setup, there will be no correcting it or fighting it if it decides it just wan'ts to abuse you...

you think making a dent in local politics is hard? Try a one world governmental politics...Also, the notion that it will somehow unite people is the most absurd, irrational, and quite possibly insane claim to make. As if a one world government will suddenly in the blink of an eye end the feuds that have been brewing between the peoples of the world for ages...

All a one world government does is consolidate the worlds people under fewer and fewer psychopathic jackasses than the current model we have now.

I think a one world government CAN be a good thing, however, not the way we are going with it right now. If we look at Star Trek they have successfully made it into something good, and in such a way it can indeed be good, however some premises are required for this to happen: our tech level needs to be way higher than it is now, so that people do not really need to work for a living, replicators for most needs etc.

The way we are going with it right now is more in the way of the 1984 novel by George Orwell, into a big brother society where individuals are getting more and more controls and surveyllaince, not allowed to grow their own food etc without anything good in return(except for the benefit of the government and the ruling elite, not the common man).

That is why i think most people oppose it right now. A new plan need to be made and disclosed after the tech level have jumped that everyone can accept, not like now with it all happening "behind the scenes" and with a nefarious agenda.

We are getting there though, with 3d-printers getting more and more advanced all the time, we will soon have our replicators. The successful teleportation of single atoms which has already happened is another way in which we are progressing. And do i even need to mention what the discovery of the Higgs entails?(Anti gravity one step closer).

Indeed, in as little as 10 years we might already have the tech level, so the planning needs to start pretty soon for a new societal structure based on something else than money and greed, the strife for survival and hoarding that we have right now.

The Five Stages of Grief

Denial: NWO? HA! Don't believe it for a second! That's just crazy conspiracy talk! That's not real!

Anger: OMG I can't believe they'd do this! Can't believe they'd do that! I hate them! They're so corrupt! We should kill them all!

Bargaining: Well wait! Maybe it won't be so be bad? If we just go along with it they won't treat us so bad right? Maybe they'll let us live? We can just lick their boots forever right? We can make it better right? JUST DON'T KILL ME!

Depression: Oh crap, they're gonna kill me anyway. There's too many people for a single government to control, feed, and take care of. No point in even trying to get this boot off my face. They have to keep us in complete debt slavery to make this work. No hope.

Acceptance: Oh wait this NWO stuff is real. OMG it's real! All we have to do is realize that, stick together, and arrest these money changers! Then we win! No more NWO.

Sorry, we can't fix a problem until we accept there is one. Sounds like you're stuck at the bargaining stage right now.

You'll see the same stages anytime a conspiracy is proven. First they'll say they don't believe it. Nobody would do that kind of thing! Drones over our own country would never happen!

Then after you prove it to them they'll say, so what! It's a good thing! We need drones over our own country and shooting at us!

I will be embracing every single confirmed member of the NWO the moment I met them, as long as there are no eye witnesses present. I'm getting a chubby just thinking about it.

Well this comment will irritate people but it's what I believe.

As a Christian I believe one day there will be a one world government led by Jesus. It will create a utopian world led by one who is benevolent and just.

But I would not trust man in their fallen corrupt state to be proper for that.

So it could work but not as a man made system. In contrast many of us Christians also believe there will be a corrupt one world government led by the antichrist who will rule malevolently.

No offense.

But aren't you making fairly large assumptions based on a bias fantasy of what YOU think might happen here as well?

Pot meet kettle

Good question...
I will NEVER accept the NWO. If I base my thoughts about the NWO on what is already happening (police brutality, limiting peoples rights, etc.) the NWO will be very oppressive. People like to complain about their current governments (I am one, and there are things to complain about) but I have a feeling that a NWO would be destructive to mankind. If people didn't agree with what was going on in the NWO they would be labeled a trouble maker and would be disposed of. I can't stand for something like that. I am a person who believes our differences are what makes us great and we should be able to speak up about things we think are not right.

If we allow changes toward a NWO to keep happening and the One World Government occurs what will be next? One World Religion? I believe in my right to the religion of my choice... I will not blindly go along with who or what everyone else worships as I don't think anyone should.

I guess if you have no problem having no freedom it’ll be OK for you…..

The rest of us call BULLSPIT!

There is a term around here for those who want a master and have no problem having their lives dictated….I think the term is “sheeple” or “Kool Aid drinker”.

Enjoy your Kool Aid, and keep your head down because some of us will be throwing some rounds your way!

Instead of fighting it, why can't we just help build it better?

Last I checked, totalitarian rule doesn’t take kindly to advice.

I thought this idea failed once or twice.

Rome? Persia? Granted they did not achieve a one world government, but they were pretty close. Won't there always be resistance?

Don't embrace the NWO. If it ends up sucking, you won't be around to feel the pain, your children and your children's children will. I have never used the word children so many times before!

Childrens!

I do centralized power be it any kind of government or "world government" means bloated power and control that would be worse that what we have today.

To the op:

People are free to "embrace whatever ideology" they so wish to any one thinking the NWO would be any different than the most corrupt organization in the word being the UN.

People embrace the UN and we have seen how ineffective they have been for decades when it comes to Government's comes beauacracy ripe with corruption and people who only represent their own self interests.

I hear ya....

Ashley was talking about Jesus though.

And remember this,

“Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, ‘All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.’ And Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.” ’ ” Luke 4:5-8.

If your a Christian, or believe in the bible, its clear on who is running the Worlds Governments........
