Why We Fight.[LEWC]

Why we fight, we use all our might, we stay strong thorugh the night.
We wake up tomorrow, we fight once again, filled with fright.

We take our blows, only god knows, where we will end up, is it here, is it enough?
Will they hold on, will they stay strongm will they hold the line?

Painfull is the time, sleep has been a myth, combat our only gift to keep us alive and to make even some of us thrive.

This war rages on, we will never be done, why are we here, When is the end near?

How many will die, who will ask why, when these men are gone, without a song.

Who will rise?, from our demise!, any soul that is pure; have no fear for you are about to take charge.

Who is the best, only the rest, only those left behind to carry out the grind, and protects us here in the field

Battles are lost, wars are won, the people come together, they learn to work as one.

you've stumbled right across the point. Why do we fight. It was meant to make readers question and not as an explanation.

Because that was our job.

I have nothing but respect for our military who serve honourably. But your answer scares the hell out of me.
If you do whatever your "boss" tells you, where is the line?

Soldiers are meant to serve, the interest of their nation, not the whims of a madman.
