OK, I take back what I said about the UK being a country. Apparently it's a country that just doesn't make any sense, since it's composed of 4 other separate countries.



BTW - I'm from the US. I just like what little I've heard of the Netherlands, as well as some other choice nations.

I am assuming you live in the UK. I applaud your patriotism; and your positive belief in your country.

However...many, many people globally think that their own country is the best...and that is only natural.

the best? i don't know if any can call themselves the "best" unless they got a statement of all citizens in this world and then compared the responses, it seems your opinion is is just that, i hope my country doesnt get surveillance cams on every street corner, it would make me feel uncomfortable. Do u get over being watched all the time after a while, or do u live a life being uncomfortable?

Meh, you didn't invent nothing, just as I didn't either.

I could list endless inventions from every country in the world, and all of them where By people, not their countries...

Pride in your country is one thing...

But what would happen if I posted a thread saying US number 1 because of one event we did that was really cool... You know like save the UK from the Nazi's, you know something minor like that?

I am from Sweden, a faaaaaar "better" society than the one you call UK, but my best guess is that this thread is made all out of irony?
Not saying that sweden is a good country though. It is #, just like the rest, as long as we keep dwelling in this big lie we live in.
