Opening Ceremony London 2012

So, as I'm strolling through Google just now, all I see is the talk about the 2012 Olympics in London which actually starts in an couple of hours and I just happen to click on the first link of which was Fox News Latino and I see this beautiful picture of the Olympic Stadium that I actually save as a wallpaper for my notebook for the meantime and so im reading about what's taking place and what not. So I happen to see something that caught my attention and this years show is call the 'Isle of Wonder' which is a celebration of British culture.

Well I'm like cool but, what makes this so special for this year. I know all of us has contribute a peace of mine of what may or may-not take place in conspiracy point of view of what can take place, if something off the wall happens, so i'm putting my ten cents into this one as well because I want to know what the hell is the "Isle of Wonder" and what does it have to do with London's Olympics and since I'm at work...I will try to make this short and you can read the rest. Believe what you may, I'm just posting my thing because we are all scratching our heads today.


According to what I'm reading, the openning ceremony is an Satanic massive ritual under the guise of Zeus. And since I am getting services calls I will leave this rest up to you read and investigate this meaning of this.

I will post up several link of sources and I hope we can make sense what all of what this means or could be nothing at all..who knows, your mystery!

Interesting, I would like to watch the opening ceremony but I'll be damned if I can't find a live-stream anywhere on the web...odd this day in age that there is no live-stream of the Olympics on the net...

If anyone has one I would love to watch if you could link....otherwise I guess I have to watch prime-time TV and promote a station I don't really care for...

On Topic: I wouldn't be surprised with the info you linked as most all ceremonie, anniversaries and celebrations seem to be an inside joke that the elite understand and we THINK we understand but really don't and participate in out of complete ignorance...

And your, we really don't know what going on until something or nothing happens..lol. But on the real though, why is this years games so darn special? I don't remember none of this being a big deal in the past?

I'm sure i just saw James Bond escorting the queen onto a helicopter... Shortly before "parachuting" into the stadium...

Is this what Britain is meant to be? is that our culture?? That cost 27 Million pounds! madness!

so far so so. the usual theatrical shenanigans, with an 'english twist'. i think that means odd and low-budget.

Well I've got the ceremony on in the living room, I watched about 5 minutes, and walked out, told my son to let me know if it gets any worse !

It's scarily cringe worthy in my oipinion.

After all, have any other opening ceremonies plugged their country's health service when they hosted the event ?!

It's the NHS lit up for all to see that finished me off, its not that I don't support our health service, just that I don't understand why they thought people around the world would want to see it.

It almost feels like propagander......but for who ?

Yeah I saw that... I thought the industrial revolution bit was a bit odd too with all those suspicious looking men standing around with top hats on...

My whole family agrees, we were just sitting through the whole thing with puzzled looks on our faces saying "what the hell is this?" haha

Well i would just like to say that this is the worst opening ceremony i've probably seen.It seems so out of touch and cheesy.

Anyway,i believe that Zeus,despite not being a part of the Christian pantheon(obviously),is not satanic.

I don't believe the opening ceremonies of the Olympics is a Satanic ritual, I truly think It's BS . It's just a made up story to scare people , just like the story that was going around about Obama being the antichrist and every other President before him.....It's all a bunch of BS

Actually popped back in for a bit, have to say I did like the "Digital Age " tribute, and the music through the last few decades.....It might be picking up a bit

YES!!!! This was my thought too!

It seems so out ouf touch.Why would they have the Victorian age,which was about famine and poor people dying everywhere and being oppressed?,It was really cheesy.

Overall it seems that the British,i am one myself,are out of touch with modern society.It also seems that those who organised the opening ceremony are a bunch of old folk who are intune with the 'everything has to be safe'' mentality aka politically correct and health and safety worshippers.

If the British wanted to top the Beijing 2008 opening ceremony then they have failed miserably

People, really? This opening ceremony is a whole lot of....nothing.

If there's a logical reason for a "conspiracy" then go for it, but way too many people try to just make something out of nothing.

I would bet my life savings that absolutely nothing will happen at the olympics.

Only thing close to "satanic" so far was the part with Prodigy - Firestarter where it looked like they were woreshipping the flames. Last Superbowl Halftime Show was way creepier.
