So I searched for "doomsday algorithm" and this didn't come up, just a bunch of doomsday bunk.

Basicly this guy john conway came up with a way to calculate the day of week for any given date. It's a pretty interesting read.

The doomsday for 2012 is Wednesday

I always thought that Friday was the doomsday day...

Being a Muslim that's what we are told ... Friday is the day ...
