We have seen many animal die offs all over the world, record numbers of volcanic and earthquake activities along with weird and strange weather and storm patterns increasing in intensity, more and more land sinking all over the place and sun activities have increased.

1. Animal die offs are at normal levels
2. Volcanic activity is normal
3. Quakes are normal
4. Land is sinking and in other places rising
5. Sun activity is increasing because the peak of the cycle is in 2013

Will people believe that things are normal? It all depends doesn't it. If they can think and examine the data they will realize that t hings are normal. If they are going to repetitive repeat mistakes and lies as you have done then they might be fearful.

Where do you get the idea that volcanism is on the increase? You have stated twice that it is so. It is not.

You claim quakes are the increase.You stated that twice. Care to back up your claim?

Pay attention. Yes, those events are happening. No, they are not increasing (except Solar activity). Something is always wrong. Nothing is ever normal (except increasing Solar activity).

I agree that the Earth is reacting and punishing us for abusing her, but will everything end at the end of 2012? No, I'd bet my life on it (ironically if the theories are correct and there is some cataclysmic event then I suppose I literally will be betting with my life..) But! I intend to be around come 2013 and will enjoy thinking back on the time, years from now, that had everybody so convinced the world was going to end in 2012

I don't believe there is zero evidence. The Mayan calendar is based on a pretty advanced knowledge of our solar system. They obviously weren't cave dwellers.

What is rather ironic in your statement is we have no real knowledge or understanding of how the Mayans and Sumerians accomplished some of the things they did and you claim there's zero evidence they were advanced. If we're so much more advanced than they, we'd have no issues figuring them out.

The Mayan calendar was based on careful observation of the rising and setting of planets and stars. There is no indication that they had any awareness of the structure of the Solar System.

The Myans could not see that we have a space version of border control.

Problem is, come 2013, there will be a new date for the end of the world and it will all start again. I've read in places that the mayan calender has been mis-interpreted and the true date of doom is 2016 or some crap like that. As long as there are conspiracy sites, there will always be doom-porn. I can gaurantee that.

This is only partially true and fairly pessimistic. A majority of humanity has been cheated and manipulated by the elites to become this. The current economy facilitates the depletion of our resources, destruction of our environment and contributions to various pollutions. Even war itself is really demanded by the economy, war is profitable.

A majority of humanity are bystanders. The real sickness and disease are the elites who know this, but continue with their greed and selfishness in the wealth acquired within the planetary economy.

I feel that the movement has obviously been hijacked by vested interests who have less then good, innocent intentions. This movement should merely study the correlating prophecies in various religions/spiritual beliefs which highlight a coming "golden age"

If history has taught us anything it is that we are a deviant race of miscreants Hell bent on annihilation.

Once again, the elites are the ones who have traditionally manipulated every aspect of humanity so that there was no other choice. It isn't their fault.

If December 21st brings us anything let's hope that it has nothing to do with unkempt, lice riddled hippies frollicking in fields of discarded garbage. Well, it's just like you say. Things are not black and white. Rather there's a spectrum between Black and white. I agree that telepathic communication is something people shouldn't attempt. You can't verify that you're actually communicating with the "beings" that you claim to be communicating with. Plus such communications can simply be fabrications to manipulate others (i.e.-saying an "alien" told everyone ya the world is going to end, support this guys website etc.). However meditation and other aspects of the spiritual development of humanity are legit. The scientific world has been becoming more open to these concepts.

Crystals, meditation balls, chanting, channeling fake alien energy......these are all things that are entwined

It's a shame that some people do use these concepts to be snake oil salesmen. Regardless, what is missing is lack of education and information concerning these concepts. I keep telling people, they shouldn't blindly believe in these things, rather they should do their research. Technically speaking, crystals, chanting and meditation balls could either have a placebo effect, highlighting the true potential of the human being and if developed properly, an unlimited potential.

alien entities and some new age meditation techniques are inextricably linked. Some forms of meditation rampant in the new age community have to do with...

Rather than arguing over the legitimacy of these findings, humanity should rather take into account positive advice and act on it in the real world without claiming that "aliens told me" or letting alien communications affect their ego (i.e.- "look at me, I can talk to aliens")

I did not say that the Mayans or Sumerians were not advanced. What I was responding to is a totally different argument. The Sumerians and Mayans did astronomy and were able to make predictions yet neither knew of any planets other than those that can be detected by the unaided eye. Yes they did interesting things, but were not technologically as advanced as us. The argument I was responding to is the claim that advanced civilizations have existed in the past and were destroyed every 5000 years or whatever was stated. That has not happened.

People who translate this to y2k are idiots, there actually was a problem with the y2k and computers, we had to get them repaired where i work before the year 2000..........and no one ever said y2k was the END ,,if they did they were stupid. This is something different. The accuracy of the calendar itself should be a red flag..

So basically it's a red flag because the Mayans were too stupid to count days? Too stupid to watch and observe over the course of years the motions of the sun, moon and stars?

Too stupid to notice that the sun would rise in a certain place on the horizon and set at a certain place on the horizon, but would then move each day from those places, only to come back to that exact same position 365 days later?

It's not a red flag. It's a great accomplishment by a culture that was very aware and observant of celestial objects in the sky.
