"The American independents are not going to re- elect some loser who hands

them a GDP of 1%"

..Now there is something I can absolutely agree with you on. I will not vote for him.

-I didnt vote for him in the first place. I went with the lesser of two evils- the old man and the hot chic. where did that get me?

So you're basically doing as I stated earlier and only taking note of the polls that support your desires? I believe that's called confirmation bias.

Also, I think I'll have to disagree with you. It seems to be commonly accepted that Rasmussen is biased in the GOP's favor:

In the final weeks of the 2010 governor’s race in California, Rasmussen’s results suggested, using more polling “data” than anyone else, that the race was a toss-up. Right up to until Election Day, Rasmussen flooded the media with the view that Meg Whitman was going to pull off one of the greatest upsets in US voting history. So what actually happened when voters went to the polls? Whitman lost to Jerry Brown by 13 points. This is despite the $140,000,000 of her own money she used to lather the airwaves with advertising. This was not a “close race” or “tossup”—it was a slaughter.

Throwing out a link from the Daily Kos is a red flag.

If you want to put your trust in polls that are clearly stacked with an overwhelming

number of democrats, then go ahead. Good luck with that.

You are going to be in for a big surprise November 6, 2012.

Oh, I have plenty more than dailykos. All it requires is a quick google search.

Here you go

And honestly, I could care less who gets elected in November. As I stated before, I'm voting third party, so I know whoever I vote for won't get into office. It doesn't matter to me. How many times must I say Obama=Romney for you to understand what I think?

A clear majority of Americans agree with you and me.

Obama should start packing his luggage today. It's over.

You are free to do whatever you want to.

You should get used to saying - President Mitt Romney - right now.

All he needs is a great VP. I hope it's not Pawlenty.

The number 1 concern for the American people is the US economy. Clearly, Obamas economic policies have failed.

My friend you're Correct, here is an article from: DAVID SHEPARDSON DETROIT NEWS WASHINGTON BUREAU.

The Detroit automaker has seen its share price tumble by more than 52 percent since it reached a high closing price in January 2011 of $38.90, just after going public in November 2010. The company has shed more than $30 billion in market capitalization over the last 18 months, and now is worth about $29 billion.

This is interesting:

It needs about $53 a share in order to break even on its GM bailout. At current prices, it would lose $17.25 billion on the bailout.

Bailed Out By US, The Tax Payers, and their losing money!

Obama is way below 50% in ALL of those polls you have.

And Romney is below Obama's numbers in almost all polls.

Oh, come on. Be honest with yourself.

Practice what ye preaches.

Clearly, Obamas economic policies have failed.

Correct. All policies that were in effect before he came into office and he stuck with. Can anyone say "Bush tax cuts"? His policies failed because he followed along with the Neoconservative plan.

right where Obama likes it.

Really? You had a personal discussion with Obama and he told you that the current state of affairs is most enjoyable to him? Either your statement is complete crap, or you are just as delusional as I thought. What happened to being honest with yourself?

We deserve better than that.

No, we deserve to get that which we are currently receiving! For far too long we have stood back and listened to propagandic parrots like yourself tell us that there are only two choices.....Dem or Rep.

Come to find out, they both are willing to sink the ship just so that they can have some sort of ill-perceived notion of power and to get rich from corporate greed injected within the political landscape.

Who the hell do you think you are to come on ATS and tell us that we only have two choices...and then fill our minds with absolute crap on why you think one is better than the other? A poll? Really, a fuking poll?

Go sell your snakeoil somewhere else because I am not buying it and will do all within my power to make sure you are called out as the feces peddler you are!

Yes, think it through. The undecided are sitting on the sidelines with one eye

on the price of gas and one eye on the USA Q2 GDP number.

If the USA Q2 GDP number is less than 1%, then bye...bye...Obama.....

....You're Fired !!!........go play 100 rounds of golf back in Chicago.

Welcome to Washington DC ....President Mitt Romney !

We fired that loser socialist. Please give us a 5% GDP number ASAP!

Well, as long as you're fine with a liberal running against a liberal, I won't complain. I mean, even his own party seems to have faith in him

Or not. Whoops.

And before he picks a VP, he's going to need to find someone who will actually take the job. How many times has Condi said "No," now?

Condi won't take the VP job.

They are looking for someone very safe. That's Pawlenty.

Nazi propaganda has always been interesting to me and therefore I am pretty good at spotting it when I see it. The technique you used was right from the Nazi propaganda playbook. Let me share some info with you to show just how close you are.

From the Hitler's Guide to Propaganda:

1. Keep the dogma simple. Make only 1 or 2 points.
2. Be forthright and powerfully direct. Speak only in the telling or ordering mode.
3. As much as possible, reduce concepts down into stereotypes which are black and white.
4. Speak to people’s emotions and stir them constantly.
5. Use lots of repetition; repeat your points over and over again.
6. Forget literary beauty, scientific reasoning, balance, or novelty.
7. Focus solely on convincing people and creating zealots.
8. Find slogans which can be used to drive the movement forward.
HGTP

Sound familier? Do I need to go through your threads...or even just this one....and point out how you have done just what I have said?

ATS only deserves the truth....which you are not interested in. You have an agenda and are willing to use unsavory techniques to achieve that agenda.

For reals- I feel like Im sitting in a theatre watching a wrestling match between two blind and deaf people, and neither one of them want to give up.

Two for the extra point.!!

Really guys- One candidate=runny turd. The other candidate=hard turd.

One is constipated and one ate too much mexican food.

Its clear to me they are both off of their diet.

Why can't we move past the bull and get to the nuts and bolts of real change within the system?
