I was taught a story long ago when i was just a child, but its one that has always stuck with me through out the years...

I believe this story to be truth... and i hope it brings a little inspiration and hope to your lives...

Take it as you will...

I had a dream where i died after a long life... and was taken to heaven to be with God. We walked in paradise on a breath taking beach with crystal blue waters... as we walked my life flashed before my eyes... And he asked me...

My son, what say you of your life?

His voice was soothing and familar, as if i've known it all my life... As i turned looking back on my life i noticed two sets of footprints in the sand through out most of my journey... yet at the hardest most trying times of my life there was only one set of footprints...

Tearing up i said... my lord why is it at the worst times in my life where i had no one to turn to there is only one set of footprints... Why did you abandon me?

The lord smiled at me and said...

My dear beloved son... i've walked with you all your life...

And at those times where you were in need... and believed there was no one to help you...

I carried you...

I wish I understood your animosity towards God/Jesus.

Where you wronged by them in anyway?

Sorry i don't understand how you came to that conclusion...

I might suggest you look through my threads...

You might find i have no issues with either of them

I saw that same message on pottery some years ago.

It's a nice reminder that we are never alone.

Just going off of memory. I remember a post or two by you talking bad about God etc. Guess I was wrong.

Because of his promises, Christians believe there is no reason to fight for this world.

That's my problem with the whole deal.

"Footprints" is awesome. My stepmother had it hanging in her kitchen.
