It's about time. this has been a long time coming. I'm actually quite surprised it was passed, but then again, i ask what comes after this?

will there be any consequences to deal with by the fed?
will senate take back it's constitutional right to coin money?
what's the next step?

your thoughts?

I'm Australian and follow your politics as close as I follow mine, if not closer...it will provide much needed transparency the fed has a lot
Of skeletons in their closet, I personally think the fed should be scrapped altogether and a new system should be devised that serves the people, I hope the Vatican is next to be audited!!!!

I am too accustomed to disappointment when it comes to our government doing anything with their bosses.

And let's face it... they are the bosses.

This is not to say the American people couldn't make this right...but the government? Heck, more than half of the appointees come from one form or another of corporate interest. ultimately for the benefit of the Federal Reserve Revenue stream and our exponentially increasing compounded debt with them.

Also, since the Fed has had many years to brace for this inevitability, I'm certain their records are expertly sanitized of anything that would substantiate their complicity in the global scam to fleece every person on earth of as much wealth as they can manufacture.

100 years later and we STILL don't know who exactly owns that bank... it's a secret... a secret our government vehemently protects on their behalf ... because the Fed needs their "privacy" in order to maintain "confidence" .. and also, because the banks are the source of the political "free speech" (read money) to produce all those informative and meaningful advertisements about how each facade of the party is magically better than the other.

I fear the "audit" will be a theatrical production meant to make America believe that the their is a "solution" to the monetary problem and they will "offer" it and proclaim it's divinely inspired greatness... leading to more oppression and less freedom at a higher price for every non-corporate American who doesn't actually "own" property (mortgages don't count - you're just babysitting for the bank.)

The audit the Fed movement was a great idea.... 50 years ago before they destroyed the economy (again.) I say audit the IRS while they're at it... and make a clean sweep of it.

I hope I am completely wrong, mind you, but this seems like the whole "fix the barn door after the horses get out" thing. The global central banking scam has weakened every major country on the planet... while our leaders and those who swore to look out for their fellow citizens sat back and enjoyed their celebrity and perks.

Even with broad bipartisan support in the House, aides said the bill is unlikely to be considered in the Democratic-controlled Senate.

A Bargain At Any Price

Even with broad bipartisan support in the House, aides said the bill is unlikely to be considered in the Democratic-controlled Senate.

And there it is. Effect of vote: nil.

The price of a Senator tends to be higher than the price of a Representative, but much fewer of them need to be paid off, so the Senate is where all the savvy, big money players spend their hard-earned bribe money.

Well that is good news….. But I am left wondering if they will be counting the gold painted lead bars as actual gold bars?
