Ah, love page 20, where it relates the "birth certificate" to integration of other services, like Govt run health care.

Again, never mind the whole 'another database of US citizens'. I guess you are ok with the new NSA data complex being built in Utah, that will house not only data collected on every us citizen, in regards to the internet, but will filter and comb through the internet as a whole.

Love that idea. Yeah, more Govt control.
I guess they got to have a complete list for those coming FEMA camps, huh?

Why not just go directly to the UN site. It states a registration, not within a birth certificate.

Why? the PDF document I provided is FROM the UN (UNICEF). It states very clearly what "registration" is.

Who would hold that registration database??? Geez, I wonder. If the UN proposes it, then by default, they would administer it.

Wrong. The UN treaty is calling for nations to do what the US already does; issue birth certificates to those born with disabilities....you know....treat them like equal citizens.

So, by your train of thought, a birth certificate would then indicate a birth defect or learning/physical disability?

No, see above.

Yeah, that sounds great. Again, whether it be the US Govt and/or UN, that sounds fantastic.
So, maybe there will be a new spun off Govt Agency to house, maintain and enforce this policy. Or maybe have it turned over to DHS.

Paranoia without an iota of proof.

Maybe NASA will build a tractor beam and start crashing asteroids into earth....

So, why does the US need to participate with this BS then????

If the UN and other nations want to play, then fine, let them play.

Birth Certificates, currently, do not have an area for disabilities.

Again, just another database for the Govt to keep tabs on citizens, or restrict them of certain other rights.

No, it states there is a registration, and then proceeds to state that the nation where birth is, should not have the option to deny birth certificates.
Unlike you, I really don't like the UN telling other nations what they "Have" to do. It is the choice of the nation, not the One World Government.

So, again, the UN thinks they have the right to force other nations to do things?

No, see above.

Um, yes. It states any person with a disability would be registered as such. Is that registration listed on the BC or somewhere else?

Healthy paranoia, hate to say it.
But, I do love that slight, instead of stating where the info will be housed, who will maintain it and what indicating a person has a disability has anything to do with what the UN should be doing.

I do love the read. A report, created by UNICEF, to be used by the UN, in forcing the Sovereign Nation Of America to bow down to the new World Government.
Love that.

So, if these laws are already in place here, then why do we need a one world Govt treaty signed?

Oh, and read between the lines. It states that the place of birth will issue the certificate and registration, but if the UN is pitching this, then where would that document be housed? I am sure that the UN will have NO hand in that. Yeah ok then.

Because we inspired the thing. Our laws, our leadership. Never mind it has no way to be enforced and does have the power to make any nation do anything. It does show US leadership in area that most of the world lacks. I have never seen such fear of an organization so powerless.

Just because we are the model, does not mean that we need to sign a new treaty on it.
Also, I fail to see where in the US model that it shows we register those with disabilities.
That is the issue.
Just another database of people, categorizing them, and placing them in the area of possibly stripping away rights not afforded to those with mental disabilities.

Just more Govt control.

Yeah. What we need is a huger military and we should round up all the takers and have them fight to the death and then guys like Rick Santorum can bring America into the paradise age where everyone is Christian and donates to Haliburton while the wealthiest pay no taxes and every government program becomes privatized.

Heaven for some. Sad for reality

You forgot to add white!

With its Southern Strategy it is well documented that the GOP's idea is "it is all right in America if it is all white in America". Right?

Lemme guess, I'm the one that played the race card and not the Strategy used by the GOP since the 60s. R

Here is some more information about the UN CRPD...

Remember if this is ratified it is international law and the U.S. HAS to implement it...

"For the United Nations, the rule of law refers to a principle of governance in which all persons, institutions and entities, public and private, including the State itself, are accountable to laws that are publicly promulgated, equally enforced and independently adjudicated, and which are consistent with international human rights norms and standards. It requires, as well, measures to ensure adherence to the principles of supremacy of law, equality before the law, accountability to the law, fairness in the application of the law, separation of powers, participation in decision-making, legal certainty, avoidance of arbitrariness and procedural and legal transparency."

(S/2004/616)
Report of the Secretary-General on the
Rule of Law and Transitional Justice in
Conflict and Post-Conflict Societies

Highlights of the UN CRPD from this site...

3. Article 4(1)(e) remands that “every person, organization, or private enterprise” must eliminate discrimination on the basis of disability. On its face, this means that every home owner would have to make their own home fully accessible to those with disabilities. If the UN wants to make exceptions, perhaps they could. But, on its face this is the meaning of the treaty.

6. Article 6(2) is a backdoor method of requiring the United States to comply with the general provisions of the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. This treaty enshrines abortion rights, homosexual rights, and demands the complete disarmament of all people.

Did you also read the last 7 words there?

7. Article 7(2) advances the identical standard for the control of children with disabilities as is contained in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. This means that the government—acting under UN directives—gets to determine for all children with disabilities what the government thinks is best.

How long before the govt. decides that ALL children have a disability?

Mental Illness CDC
Disability CDC
DSM-5 Wiki
DSM-5 ADA

And if they do decide all children fall into these new categories for some reason or another... they get to decide that is best for them all right?

Additionally, under current American law, federal law requires public schools to offer special assistance to children with disabilities. However, no parent is required to accept such assistance. Under this section the government—and not the parent—would have the ultimate authority to determine if a child with special needs will be homeschooled, attend a private school, or be required to accept the program offered by the public school.

“To shift the power of what’s in the best interests of your child to the state and away from the parent is a fundamental erosion of parental rights in this country.” —Senator Rick Santorum

I hate the UN.

They really have made enemies of way too many people on our side of the border.

I actually pray that they are disbanded one day, or worse. I dont even pray anymore, but I do for them. Well, "pray"....I will /wish it.

May I be forgiven, but,

I hope they all face their mortality soon. They wont stop trying to impose themselves. There is no light for them to see. No half way point. No meeting half way on anything. They want what they want, and are committed to seeing it through. Even the REALLY ugly parts are fine with them. That is why, I would rather see them all gone. I know and I am Sorry. But it is the truth.

They are the greatest enemies of mankind.
