Exactly--I'll paraphrase what another poster said earlier: We have to dig ourselves out of the muck instead of waiting around for someone to do it for us.

Would be nice to give someone else this responsibility..I personally take responsibility for my muck and the digging.

I took a shower, only because I got back from the gym about an hour ago. I'm not chanting to a photo of someones Messiah without a proper explanation. I'll take my chances staring at these beings without having done so. If they are harmless, we shall remain intact whether or not we've gone through some ritual or not. (If they are actually here)
