Baloney.

It is about forcing people to accept homosexuality as normal, otherwise the homosexuals wouldn't be so obsessed with organizations that do not want anything to do with them, such as the BSA and churches.

If it was truly about equal rights, they'd recognize the fact there is such a thing as right of association, and wouldn't do whatever they can to force these kinds of organizations to allow them in. Not to mention that a private organization has every right to determine ho is and who aren't members in it.

If it was not about forcing people to accept homosexuality as normal, they'd form their own organizations and compete with the others.

Otherwise, I call shenanigans.

It is normal. People need to just get over it and live with it. There have been homosexuals since the beginning of man. There are probably hundreds of millions of them in the world now. It's normal. They aren't trying to do anything, but get the same rights as everyone else.

Homosexuals are normal and a part of society. FACT

As far as the BSA - - - there are many within the Boy Scouts who want to accept gays.

Remember it was a secret group of 11 that made the decision.

Why would a gay person force an anti-gay church to accept them - - - when there are many many churches that already do.

It is not a fact that homosexuals are normal. That is a belief, and a political one.

Of course and they are correct. Anyone who opposes another simply because of their sexual orientation (something not chosen) is hateful. It is no different than opposing someone who is black, white, male, female, short or tall. None of those are chosen attributes. It is the definition of bigotry.

Now hating others on the basis of their choices may be fair game. I detest windbag, fascist, faux Christians. I am not a bigot though because those people choose their ideology making them fair game.

Arguing with cultists is a losing game. You cannot use reason, logic, science or even common sense to debate them. They are too far gone. All that can be done is to beat them. Tax ALL churches them delve into political matters or whose "pastors" preach denial of basic rights to others. Don't patronize the businesses that support them or that they operate unless you can validate they are authentic Christians not this virulent, diseased strain of re-cloaked KKK. That'd be a good start.

I must, respectfully, disagree with you. There is a movement to make anti-social behaviors considered innate qualities. Such that, child molesters are now stating that this is something they cannot help - they are born with that desire. Should we ever consider child molestation to be normal and good...even if that person could not help it? Hypothetically, what if because of exosure to chemicals or hormones, this behavior became even more commonplace to the point where 25% of men desired children? Should we allow this? We don't have to hate them, but we don't have to approve of the behavior either. A person can control his/her desires otherwise you would see bored housewives rolling around in the oranges with the produce boy each time you visit the grocery store. We might have certain sexual orientations due to genetics, chemical or hormone exposure, or choice. But, we can all control our sexual behavior. This is a different thing than being born tall or black. It's really more akin to being fat or skinny. Many believe we are born/have the genetic propensity towards a certain weight and physical appearance. Others claim it's all the choice of what we put in our mouths. Mostly, I think with both weight and sexual orientation, there is a little of both involved. The point is, you can and should stand up for what you believe in or society will go to Hell in a Handbag. Such disagreement doesn't imply hatefulness.

Adult consent. No matter what - - rule is ADULT CONSENT.

Homosexuals are consenting adults - - without any victim.

A child can not consent.

And I agree - - - a child molesters brain may be wired that way. But - the act produces a non-consenting victim.
