Has anyone in the house come to any harm as a result of this?
Do you know your house's history?

Embrace them, show/ tell them that you know they are there and that you welcome them in to your family. Dont be scared by them, they just want to be noticed.

i am puzzled by your picture. it is really too bad that the bag was in the way. we can't determine if you could see his feet or not. i have seen ghosts before and it looked semi-real, transparent but not. we could not see her from her knees down to her feet. she was about 60% see through.

this does look like a priests clothing. i am curious about the basement. do you get a temperature difference when you walk through doorways? or a tingle feeling passing through the area? i do and other people have confirmed that they have ghosts there.

i would get the creeps when i would get to the top of the stairs and start to go down. it felt like the ghost was going to push me down the stairs. he never did (i found out 2 years later it was a guy who had killed himself in the far bedroom).

i don't think your getting that kind of feeling from him and that is a GOOD thing.

I agree lol. Maybe its just me being silly about the basement but I always have an edgy feeling down there.
I think everyone is settling on a priest... It just makes me think though because we are the first house on this land, it used to be woods that was turned into a subdivision 8 years ago. We've lived in it for 7.

well, there are mentions in mythology about certain beings having adverse reactions to silver, and in traditional photography and developing, silver is used. It COULD be related. As to digital, we don't always see things the way the camera does, I have seen extraneous shadows a number of times in digital photography. Also, lets assume you are right, and it might have only been visible for the 1/30th of a second that the image took. (1/30th seems a bit slow to me, but explains parts of the blurring. Flash did fire)

It could also be that the harsh light of the flash reacted with a spirit much like a black light affects highlighters and some rocks (and your Visa and Mastercards!) and force it to be visible for a fraction of a second.
