How do I resize my photos? They are way too large. I think thats why I can't download others.

If you can imagine a rope around his neck he looks as if he has been hung like lifeless...his arms and the way his whole hand is opened head kinda cocked. You say this house has never been
occupied by any family other then your family? Was there a house that stood there before maybe torn down
to rebuild? Maybe you can go research if there were other houses that once were there.

Has anyone in the house come to any harm as a result of this?
Do you know your house's history?

Embrace them, show/ tell them that you know they are there and that you welcome them in to your family. Dont be scared by them, they just want to be noticed.

i am puzzled by your picture. it is really too bad that the bag was in the way. we can't determine if you could see his feet or not. i have seen ghosts before and it looked semi-real, transparent but not. we could not see her from her knees down to her feet. she was about 60% see through.

this does look like a priests clothing. i am curious about the basement. do you get a temperature difference when you walk through doorways? or a tingle feeling passing through the area? i do and other people have confirmed that they have ghosts there.

i would get the creeps when i would get to the top of the stairs and start to go down. it felt like the ghost was going to push me down the stairs. he never did (i found out 2 years later it was a guy who had killed himself in the far bedroom).

i don't think your getting that kind of feeling from him and that is a GOOD thing.

He is not standing in the hallway, looking at the pic. He is much closer, right behind that box/present..therefore he is also not "8ft tall".

The hallway isn't that long, so even if he's not looking at the picture on the wall, he is still way out of proportion to the rest of the photo

I agree lol. Maybe its just me being silly about the basement but I always have an edgy feeling down there.
I think everyone is settling on a priest... It just makes me think though because we are the first house on this land, it used to be woods that was turned into a subdivision 8 years ago. We've lived in it for 7.

His arms are too short. Ask any artist who knows the normal body proportions. His hands are at the pocket level and his arm does not appear to be suffienctly bent to account for the difference.

well, there are mentions in mythology about certain beings having adverse reactions to silver, and in traditional photography and developing, silver is used. It COULD be related. As to digital, we don't always see things the way the camera does, I have seen extraneous shadows a number of times in digital photography. Also, lets assume you are right, and it might have only been visible for the 1/30th of a second that the image took. (1/30th seems a bit slow to me, but explains parts of the blurring. Flash did fire)

It could also be that the harsh light of the flash reacted with a spirit much like a black light affects highlighters and some rocks (and your Visa and Mastercards!) and force it to be visible for a fraction of a second.

some questions.

why does the man appear to have a blind fold on. or is it a party hat from xmas crackers.

can u upload the original full resolution copy to flickr or something. how many MB is the original photo.

u can un blur photos using some photo programs. u can use focus magic with photoshop.
but best to have full resolution photo.

First post here...

Took the photo, and tried to filter out some things. I am no means an expert. But first, it does appear the guy is bald, and is wearing glasses. Also for those of you who noticed the little hook like thing on his neck. Its not a hook, it is a wire of some sort, and the rest of it extends down his back which is actually visible.

My theory it is some sort of wire/noose.

Also the belly area almost folds into the background at places.

I agree that the shirt almost seems to be on backwards. The thing on the back of the neck...it looks like a priest collar. He is also looking towards the left from my perspective.

Great picture! I'm excited to see the picture you have from two years ago with the pots and pans.

What is the large black trash bag - looking thing near the dog? Is there any specific reason the basement feels eerie to you?
