I agree with you...I see us going more towards Brave New World in that aspect with a little 1984 thrown in.

That statement is part of the power trip the state is on. They think they can do anything, that they are God even. He also stated that the stars are just lights only a few Km high placed there by the state. If they want they could take them all down. They know its not true, but say it to convince you that they are in total control of everything.

I think thats part of The Truman Show too. The all powerful control of our imaginary world... or some such.

As long as there are religious zealots that see caring about mankind as being humanistic and considering humanism as being sinful we will never be able to pull out of the nose dive we are now in.... They are all praying for the second coming or what the refer to as the rapture when they will ascend into the sky away from the shackles of Earth.... All of this stuff that is coming down upon us began accelerating to maximum velocity in the eighties and it is still picking up more and more speed.

Is this part of a comedy docu-drama or based on his real words ?
Reason being is that these two actors are British comedians who normally do funny sketches.

yes i know what you mean it is very wide spread is that no consideration for others, but thankfully not everybody is like that and the one's who do just think self self self and can not hear what is been said about things to come then they will be the sheeple while the rest of us do get it together ,when faced with a common enemy you would surprised how people can come together ,but the first hurdle is getting people to recognize the common enemy
