I find a scoped M-1 Garand to be far superior to an AR-15 at eradicating hogs.... I've seen hogs that had been hit by10 rounds of .223 ammo from a full auto M-16 and not go down... The last one I killed was taken down by 1 round from a John D. Englis Browning Hi Power... Hogs are a PITA around here.

I generally use the Marlin 336C 30-30 Win for all hunting. I like the "cowboy" feel of it, and the ability to take down anything in the brush if i am under 200 yards.

Is it time to ban pickup trucks??

Do you know what is already banned....loading 23 people into a pick up truck.

I love how illogical gun lovers are...which explains why they love guns.

Hi, good post but I wanted to point out that the operator of the vehicle is also among the dead, which might be a good thing since our government does not like to prosecute illegal aliens. God works in mysterious ways.

It might be time for people to follow the law and not overload their vehicles.

Yes, I do know that. Did you read my thread? I already posted seatbelt and truck bed laws in Texas.

It is also illegal to open fire on innocent people. So your argument starts and ends right there.

Yes, but people who come here illegally are already breaking the law. What is going to stop them from breaking other laws?

They won't be banned. I just bought one because I need one for my job. I do construction, and there is no way I can fit all my scaffolds and tools in any trunk. They won't be banned because of an accident. Especially because some dumbass loaded people in the bed and wrecked.

I hope both of you understand the irony in your above posts.

I'm amazed at people's inability to see obvious sarcasm as an analogy for the same logic that bans guns...Maybe because the world is so wonky that someone trying to ban pickup trucks is a real possibility... that's actually pretty scary...

good post

I know in my state, it's illegal to transport people in the back bed of a pick-up truck, but people still do it.

He is not a sheriff. He is a State Trooper. No election required but they still have to be politically correct as we all do here.
