First off please do a bit of research. The shooter could not have responded to the line "Let the games begin" as that line was not said in the movie by the time he started shooting.

The shooter entered the cinema at the beginning of the stock exchange shoot up scene. 'Let the games begin" is not said until later on, just before Bane (the villain) blows up the football stadium. Which, considering he detonates the bomb just after the national anthem and immediately before kickoff, is actually quite an appropriate stab at dark humour..

Very sloppy conclusions being reached when a quick google search would have answered this for you.

Why would I spend precious time researching a stupid movie? This is a conspiracy site is it not? I'm not saying what I propose is fact, or should even be considered so. I am merely throwing out ideas as this is a conversation.

Now would be a good time to make a very large Ark we could put all the worlds fittest humans on this planet in it. Maybe call it an London Olimpic Ark. i think it would need a Navy helicopter Attack ship next to it and maybe some some serfise to air batterys around it and maybe couple of thousand army troops because cant rely on G4s-- wot a shame--. When all the people who could actual afford a ticket ---rich people famous people and politistions are in the stadium BooooooM let the show begin. Any bets on who will win the games? USA and EU have Crazy Israel . Russia and China have crazy Iran. They all want the same prize --- Sryia .. Dont forget about those sneaky North Korens tho... how will it kick off who will start it? just saw the dark night rises, there were lines that went more or less like "the bomb will be detonated 23 days from now" Why something so random like 23??
And, "It's a time bomb","It can't be stopped". The film opened July 20th in the US. 23 days after that is August 12. Coincidentally (?) That is the date of the olympics closing ceremony.
The number 12 was mentioned in the film, again seemingly randomly. August 12 again? Then at a 12am screening, 12 people were shot dead in a cinema.

Look and hear closely this video. Do not blink! She says "The bigger, the better"! For which reason? See at 1:35 and you'll see 3 numbers. It is the date of the big thing she is talking about. Also, you can see the symbol of illuminati, the all seeing eye, made by the singer. Furthermore, there is a dancing indian who is holding the hops in a very special position (1:59), so that they will make a symbol which will be shown on TV in 2 days. Finally, if you look closing the red backround you will understand that it looks like a huge explosion.

While the idea that something might happen during the Olympics is a very real possibility, I real fail to see how you've created this - rather tenuous - link between the Dark Knight Rises and the Olympics. Do they even say 'let the games begin' at the Olympics? I'm genuinely asking now, btw, as I don't know.

Either way, there is no link whatsoever. TDKR is just a bloody film.

I can understand it can be hard for some to grasp the connection - after all, encrypted symbolism is made to be ambiguous and underhanded, not plain as day. So, please, keep that in mind.

But I would urge you, dear Daemon, never to say such things as "this is just a bloody film".

There is no such thing as an "innocent" film in Hollywood. Don't believe me? Start by researching where the name "Holy Wood" comes from....(and "Columbia Pictures", "Tristar", etc...)

As the other said, "the world is ruled by signs and symbols".

Stop making all these Olympics doom porn threads people. 50 is enough we don't need 100. People always want to snatch the trophy first when their death wishes come true. It's an ego thing, nothing personal.

The Olympics are starting tomorrow if I'm correct so just let it unfold and of course, let the games begin!

btw: I typed in "snatch" in Google to make sure on the spelling and the first thing I read was

The snatch is one of the two olympic weightlifting events
