The article is a window vantage viewpoint of man's best against nature's best. Who will win? We didn't know it was a competition. Well we did, but we didn't realize the actual life and death scope of the struggle. If we did, we would have better prepared ourselves maybe a little better. We would have perhaps tried a little harder.

For those who don't have the time, or are not interested in reading the article: The summary is that - man was/is prepared for nature's attacks against nuclear power plants in the event of earthquakes or tsunamis... but in the case of Japan, not both.

Article link Laugh or cry... it's interesting reading I think.

Didn't quite understand the last remark about Earthquakes and Japan.

But I don't believe that we're responsibile for the environment. I think its cyclical. If it's that bad why not ground everything and ban everything else?
