BUSH RESPONSE TO #5: Let the inspectors do their job? They were doing their jobs, and Saddam was decieving them!. Let France, Germany, etc. make their positions clear.

There is an axis of evil, Iraq, Iran and N. Korea, ad we are making progress.

Strong - WIN

QUESTION 6

QUESTION 6.

Pres Bush, Since we continue to police the world, how do you plan to maintain troop presence without reinstating a draft?

critique: Good one for Pres Bush. This is his second "cake" question compared to Kerry's first on flipflopping. It remains an important issue though and was a good choice 3/5.

Bush seems better prepared for this one. This is 'his' style of debate, in front of the people. Kerry looks as strong as he did in the first...
What is Bush doing????? Let me answer the question...he just totally blew it off...

Hmmm, I am watching it as well, and I think Kerry has an easy job so far.

The questions and the debate are all focused on anaylsing Bush's actions and decisions. Kerry has the freedom to say "I wouldn't do that" without having to justify his decisions. Its easy to have hindisght, but Bush is on trial, without the ability to attack back in his answers.

I actually think that under the circumstances Bush is doing very well , and I am NOT a bush supporter

BUSH RESPONSE TO #6: We are not going to have a draft...period. Strong alliances, that's it.

Strong - WIN

Rebuttal: Tell our allies we're going alone. That statement denegrates the countries that are helping us.

Strong - WIN

Kerry addressed this problem at the level of Par.

Neither candidate seems to support a draft, but kerry wants to make our soldiers feel safe.

It's a good motive, but I'm not entirely sure how he's going to ensure that. He wants to make sure that he runs a foreign policy where alliances come before conflicts and enemies.

I think that that is the key to a good foreign policy.

QUESTION 7

Senator Kerry, We have been fortunate that there have been no further terrorist attacks since 9/11. Why do you think this is and if elected what will you do to protect our safety?

critique: Bit of an easy one for Kerry but it evens it out. No real substance just rhetoric behind this one. 3/5
note: If I were Gibson i'd have disciplined him..
