Looked to me like someone photoshopped the Dome of the Rock onto the moon.

I see this is 3 pages in, still titled "Breaking News", still a HOAX, and still not in the HOAX bin....

Richard Hoagland has announced a breaking story.

Just in case anyone is interested:

The spot the obviously photoshopped "building" is on is located at 8.64 S, 174.6 E.

You can go look at that area with the LROC images (no building, lots of craters however).

It would be around 1/2 mile by 1/2 mile big if it was there.

Why Do I keep noticing that the first few posters to threads on UFO's Aliens, anti NWO and Whistle blowers are always negative towards the subject of the OP.

One could be forgiven for thinking these people are paid to work shift work and monitor ATS for these sorts of threads and immediately jump in with negtive comments so as to try to influence readers.a

It's no different from the persons that will defend any theory regardless of how much evidence there is against it.

Even if "Hoagy is stupid" he is NOT stupid enough to release stuff such as this without first having verified it himself. And i am pretty sure his verification checked out at the time of him announcing this, for him to even consider exposing this to the public.

You work for NASA, right, Phage?

Hoagland has done that before plenty of times.

His image processing on mars was so painful it gives one an aneurism just thinking about it. Especially his claim that the images he was using couldn't be damaged by filters/scripts run on them. Like that has ever been true in the history of human technology.

Even his previous hired help image processing friends will tell you that he is way off base.

A long time ago somebody approached Hoaland and told him "It's easy to lie to the general public." Hoagland stated the general public is too smart and the truth gets revealed and in a couple days everyone knows. He said "Truth spreads." The other guy challenged Hoagland "Prove it."

Hoagland has been trying to prove it ever since, with failing results.

Of course, lying to scientists and specialists is much much harder to do.

This is why I think NASA is honest and doesn't cover things up. If they were covering things up then many of our scientists would be in an uproar. The general public can be tricked, though.

ATS needs a guy like Phage. He keeps this site honest by using his brilliant logic.

As for working for NASA. He is certainly bright enough.

My pray is when the ET's do decide to come to our rock.

That they will land on Phage's front lawn...

Because Hoagland is a known hoaxer. He twists just about everything to fit his own agenda. Which is lining his pockets.

The same group that trains (Controls) the scientists use them to get in an uproar, nice mind control they use on them all, the most limited fearful group ever, the scientist.

It actually causes them pain to to admit that the entire existence is different than what they are TOLD, and they are TOLD how to get to those conclusions, that were already provided for them.

Religious nutters with no actual proof of anything, is what Nasa is protecting, it is the Vatican of religion, it is there only to maintain dominance and CONTROL information.

Hoagland should have said that he spotted a face on the moon.
Looking at the linked pics, and letting my imagination run wild, I almost saw some faces.
No ziggurat though.

Yeah, shame isn't it? Blatantly biased towards the truth and it being told. Terrible terrible mods =)

I'd like to point out that presenting the ziggy as though it was his own discovery was not the only dishonest thing Hoagland did on C2C-AM, 20 July.

He also said that his "studies" during the eclipse of May 20th proved that pyramids, and the core of the Moon, amplify torsion wave energy "enormously." The problem with that is that his so-called "studies" were actually done in a restaurant at Sandia Peak, NM, thousands of miles from the nearest pyramid and 240,000 miles from the core of the Moon.

You see, he had begged his faithful fans on Flubbook to send him cash to finance a trip to Egypt with his girlfriend. Plenty did, but not enough, so he canceled the trip. So far he has not offered refunds.

Sweet guy, huh?

Lol yes I caught him asking for money as well ! What a joke !

And with the uncertainty in Egypt right now there was never any chance of him going to Egypt , let's not kid our selves . Not to even get into the fact that his science is junk .

I wonder , do people realize that he is turning his followers into nothing more than a joke ? I wonder how long good old George will allow him to voice his crap on coast .

To bad he wasn't an evangelist , then he could simply be brought up on fraud charges .

In his blog today, Mike Bara wrote "First of all, it is not Hoagland's Ziggurat, it's my Ziggurat. I'm the one who found it, I'm the one who named it, I'm the one who researched it, I'm the one who sent it to him, and it's going to be in my new book, Ancient Aliens on the Moon."

Later on Facebook he posted "I found it on the web but I don't know who did the original enhancement."

How interesting. He finds somebody else's photoshop fakery, and because HE FOUND IT, it's HIS. So it's going to be in his book, huh? Wonder if the publisher, Adventures Unlimited Press, knows about this plagiarism?

Update:
Dr Stuart Robbins, an astronomer from Univ. Colorado who specializes in cratering, has examined the evidence for the ziggy and found it laughably inadequate. Robbins has a blog called 'Exposing Pseudo-Astronomy.'

On his own blog, and on FeckBook, Mike Bara took the usual line, answering rational criticism with insult. Eventually he challenged Robbins to come up with images of the crater taken by any space agency other than NASA. Mike wrote that he "didn't trust" the LROC images, which are 80x better resolution than the one he's going to publish in his book -- although he apparently has no difficulty trusting an image he happens across on a teenage sci-fi web forum. Images from the Japanese lunar orbiter Kaguya have now been found:

pseudoastro.wordpress.com...< br />
And that's where things stand today. What new insults will Mike Bara come up with? Where's Hoagland?
