House bars Obama from sharing secrets with Russia

The U.S. house of Representatives passed the fiscal year 2013 Defense spending bill the other night.
The bill now goes to the Senate for "consideration".

Contained in that legislation is an amendment that would prohibit Obama and the Administration from making any "secret deals" with Russia.

I guess that "Open Mic" moment a few months ago woke up a few people !!

There has been a plague of security "Leaks" recently that indicate possible questionable activities by unelected appointed "officials" at high levels of government.

The Fiscal 2013 Defense spending bill that passed the House 326 to 90 with bipartisan support Thursday evening included an amendment that would prohibit President Barack Obama from making good on a deal with Russia that he appeared to hint at earlier this year.

Introduced by Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), the amendment bars the administration from sharing classified missile defense information with Russia.

In late March, an inadvertent hot-mic moment caught Obama asking Russian president Dmitri Medvedev for “space” until after the election, saying he would then have more “flexibility” to address issues such as missile defense with the Russians.

Medvedev said he would transmit the president’s request to Vladimir Putin, who assumed the Russian presidency in May......[read all the details]

BUT

Obama has threatened to veto the bill because it does not conform to spending levels set under the Budget Control Act. The Senate is unlikely to address the legislation until after the election as Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has said he will block any spending bill brought up before then.

Maybe Obama has a different reason for a "veto" eh ?

Hmmm.

Certainly don't like the president asking for "space" so he can get elected.

It gives Russia something it can ask a favor from the President, based solely on them doing something personal for him, giving him room on issues till November.

Its an implied tit for tat just so he can look better on the world stage...

We already have an old law in place to prevent the sharing of secrets I thought. I thought it to be the treason law. Hmmm. Guess not.

Who cares? They're all in on it as far as I'm concerned. Every god damn suit in Washington. I eagerly await the day some nutjob decides to Rambo up and climb the fence. Earbuds and Glocks aren't gonna help them when the 2nd American Revolution takes its first step.

More ridiculous posing by repubs to fool the rubes.

And a violation of congressional authority.

WAIT WHAT?! Since when have laws prevented ANYTHING from ever happening? Do our leaders and the mainstream public think that ink on paper actually prevents things from happening?

I'm sorry but it seems like they are just trying to cast off suspicion from the entire government. " We can't share secrets! it's against the law therefore it is physically impossible!" Laws didn't prevent Wall Street or the Dems and Repubs from screwing us over, why would they think it would work now?

sigh...do they really think we are that stupid? Apparently so.

Anything and everything the TeaBag House says or does should ALWAYS be ignored. They are traitors. They are enemies of the State. Their are irrelevant to all humanity;

Obama is a threat to National Security on so many levels. He should be arrested (under the Patriot Act he beefed up) and put away in a non-disclosed detainment facility for an indeterminate amount of time with no communications with anyone outside of his detainment cell.

He's glad to do that to any one he pokes his finger at on his hit list, but he could be the real public enemy threat #1. Don't you think he could be arrested for being a national security threat? Or did he sign an executive order exempting him from all USA laws?
