I was lucky enough to see Richard Thompson play at a small festival in my county, just maybe a month ago.
He's been making music for 40 years and has won the "Best Acoustic Guitarist" award in 1991.



There's this song, Pharaoh - which has some brilliant lyrics. I'll post them below, really worth a read.
