Good thread Kluute, this is a fascinating topic and could expand in to many different directions I think.
I've had many trippy animal 'connections' - probably my favourite was when a dragonfly taught me how to meditate on stillness. I came home and he
was waiting for me near the front door. Not a big dragonfly, but very beautiful with rainbow colours. I opened the door and he flew in to the house
immediately. I automatically knew that this was no random event - he was here for a reason.
I put down my things and went to the couch and sat in a lotus position. He was buzzing around as this happened, just waiting for me to get
comfortable. After I had settled he flew over and landed in my lap, on top of my belt buckle. And then he just sat there, perfectly still for what
seemed like 10-15 minutes. I felt like he was saying to me - be still, do not think, this moment is eternal. After he felt that the lesson was over,
he flew up to the door and then waited for me to open it - and then he was gone.
All animals are psychic, especially cats.
I really love owls and many native birds. I have a magpie at home that taunts me, always waking me up in the morning, banging on the bedroom window -
he's so cheeky. Anyway I could go on but I won't, except to say I find it horrid that people keep birds in cages !! AAWWWWWWWWW !!
Peace Out - Ned
