Very detailed events of the shooting that took place in Colorado on pastebin with no links on it to any sites. Interesting. Guy has been following it ever since it happened.

Place this on the end of of the dash if you want to read it.

Continued:

4:34: /u/XXLOLHEADSHOTXX: Shooter used Vicodin before the massacre: source

4:42: From /u/derphurr — source

He took 100mg of Vicodin about two and half hours before the shooting

He told police he was acting alone and tipped them to the booby trapped explosives in his Aurora apartment. But he then asked for a lawyer and stopped cooperating.

According to sources, he had nine clips in an ammo carrier and police found at least three .40-caliber magazines, a shotgun and a large drum magazine on the floor when they arrived.

One source believed the ammo drum for the AR-15 had jammed sometime during the shooting. Speculation that the gun overheated.

Holmes exited the theater where he was confronted by at least two officers.

4:45: More on the apt booby trap from Reuters — /u/derphurr:

Loud music on a timer to lure a noise complaint.

Police now plan to detonate the devices using a robot

The living room of the apartment was crisscrossed with trip wires connected to a number of plastic bottles containing an undetermined fluid

5:20: /u/shankee: CNN corroborates 9News' story from 4:56. Also, Holmes is an "enigma" to law enforcement.

7.06 Colorado Governor: 11 still in critical condition ; 30 in hospital overall.

I just read on skynews that the weapons and ammo were bought legally over the internet:

6,000 rounds apparently, so it seems he was ready to murder or at least attempt to murder a hell of a lot of people...

I have to say eerie similarity especially with the side burns and how he looks today.

I'm no expert but a quick google search shows 1 pill of vicodin to be around 10mg. He would be very doped up on 100mg from what I gather! Does this explain why he just let himself be arrested and offered no resistance? ie after the effects kicked in.

Why would you want to be this sedated when trying to kill so many people? (of course it all depends on if this info is true or just misreported)

(Edit to add: he could have been a regular user and had a tolerance)

It's a very bad joke to kill innocent people or to be a governor whose government allows anyone to get so much firepower for their own personal unsupervised use and allows that unnecessary fire-power to be used against defenceless citizens.

This wasn't all that much "fire power". You're being a bit over dramatic aren't you?

Perplexing inconsistencies:
(and it's hard to tell whether these occur due to news outlets fishing for ratings or some sort of blackout on information... or both)

1. According to public records, had two roommates from California, now have none.

2. ABC news contacted the mother after the shooting? How did they know the shooter and the shooter's mother? Then the mother tells them she needs to call the police? What??

3. His father has a military background? And better still, works on fraud detection?

4. Pictures and interviews I've seen... an interview with a person in an adjacent theater. A picture of two people, supposedly at some vigil... where is everyone?

There's much more, but I'm hazy with sleep at the moment. Is it possible that this guy's father stepped on the wrong toes with his fraud detection and now his son is framed?

Is it possible that this guy doesn't exist at all? And if innocent people died, that the operation was executed by others? If he had a gas mask on, even when apprehended, couldn't it be very possible? And no mug shot to boot?

We continue to be fed these stories that leave a bad taste, or make us uncomfortable because they don't add up... but then the pertinent questions are never answered. We are supposed to get distracted by his hair being red (supposedly) or the fact that he took some vicodin prior (which, by the way, wouldn't that chill someone out just a bit too much to go on a shooting spree?)

How do we demand answers without blowback from people who obediently absorb and believe everything that is presented to them? Especially if decisions are going to be made in the aftermath that affect all americans, don't we have a right to ask the hard questions and have them answered with unequivocal facts?

ETA: Oh, and of course the booby trapped apartment. There's sure a big fuss about it, experts, robots, the works.... due to the work of a single dude with little to no experience in making explosives. How does that work? What happens to the rest of the apartment building?

There definitely is something fishy about this whole thing, and no, I'm not just saying that to jump on the conspiracy bandwagon. When I saw the first news reports of this (before I even saw any threads about it on ATS) I knew something about it seemed very odd. Different news stations are giving different facts. Somebody got sloppy.

Also, does anybody know if the movie is even any good? I haven't seen it yet, but I heard the audience was really 'blown away'.

...couldn't resist

I read earlier in this thread a seven year old child is missing. Have they found the missing child yet?

Chnces are if he was running or acting in any way that could cause concern whilst in possession of firearms it would give cause for him being shot. He probably wanted to live. He said about his apartment being booby trapped but then refused to cooperate and has an attorney. Perhaps his plea is insanity or temporary insanity under the influence.

Come on man, that's not funny. Way to early to be making jokes of this.

I suppose this could easily be added to the context:

www.bbc.co.uk...

An American supporter of al-Qaeda has pleaded guilty to trying to blow up the Pentagon and US Capitol with explosives-laden remote-controlled model planes.

Isn't this UAV thing just hitting the headlines?
This is an industry that needs clients, just like TSA scanners. So, lets create a situation where those will be mandatory to possess.

Remember how fast they installed scanners at the airports?

I think there will be a huge market for various scanning devices that need be implemented everywhere to ensure "safety".

I did not make that up, so I'm willing to take half the blame.

Yeah I hear you, that certainly most people don't have privacy concerns and blab what they had on their sandwich at lunch or when they are going on vacation. I thought there was a scene where the joker had red hair, but might be mistaken.

There is. It's when he is in the hospital and dresses like a nurse to escape. He has on a red wig.

one of the stories in that search came up with a story that says 23 year old Eric Hunter is the person who held the door closed while the gunman banged on it for 10 seconds. He then let the door go worried the gunman would start shooting through the door. Has this guy been interviewed or mentioned at all????????

EDIT: This link says he was interviewed by Shaul Turner with channel 2 news
www.examiner.com...

So according to that article he exited to get more ammo from his car and this Eric Hunter person held the exit door closed. But that doesn't really make sense because the exit door should lock from the outside. UNLESS (and this would make sense to be true), if the fire alarm is pulled the door no longer locks from the oustide. The article states they called 911 and "pulled the fire alarm" about the same time Eric was holding the door closed.

I could see how fire code might require that the lock disable once the fire alarm is pulled in order to allow access by firefighters. hmmm

Maybe he deleted them but also maybe, as reports suggest, the guy was such a loner he didn't even say hello to neighbours when they said hello, and uni staff said he was ''strange'' and ''strangely quiet'' in class, that he didn't socialise at all.
