Well, this is the first short that I wasn't much involved in to be honest. The story was written by Dragos, the actor playing the Romanian guy so as
far as the story it was his personal outlook. The bold officer was quick with his gun because he "disrespected" them. It illustrates how malicious
the nazis were, no empathy what so ever for another human. They were going to kill him anyways, might as well have some fun first torturing him and
treating him like an animal. I hope you get what I'm saying here.
I appreciate your response. Regardless of the role you had in the short film production, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the work and the
fact that you are part of the ATS comunity. Congratulations again.
I understand your explanation, but in your argument precisely lies something that I can not yet understand.
Let me explain. If the Romanian character was going to be killed no matter what, then, no matter how much or lack of respect he could show them, they
would kill him anyway, so it was better to play with him... But do not kill him first. They needed a reason to feel superior. Right?
If I understood the context of the short film, we talk about the need of a German officer, to prove a simple point, that Aryans were superior (there
was no discussion about it), but argued that non-Aryans occupied the level of an animal.
If this was so, the complete lack of respect for a supposedly superior race and lack of intelligence in the forms, shown by an animal, was expected.
Because, how can someone is offended by the actions of a chimpanzee?
Therefore, the officer should not have been so excessively fast to defend his honor or that of their peers.
That is precisely the reason that makes me wonder about his reaction. I hope I did make sense.
Enough LOL. I ask you to consider my thoughts as a compliment to your work and the team that you were part.
I really enjoyed the movie.
