So, if others stopped believing it via their thoughts, it would cease to exist? I have to look at your other items, but wanted to ask about this.

OK, try this little exercise. Close your eyes and clear your thoughts. Imagine every person on Earth standing in a field, and before them was God and Satan, and both were demanding allegiance and worship. Now imagine if everyone just turned around and refused to believe in these beings. Do you think they would remain?
Why do you think the Gods of Old demanded that Humanity worship them with prayers all the time? They surely had a reason for this. Could it be the Gods really do need us more than we need them?

Hmmmm.

Being a Mason, you should identify with this.

I take it you assume I am a Mason? Well, sorry, but I am not. I belong to no secret society, but have been asked to join, and belong to no club or coven, but have been asked to join, and to no established religion.

Do you relish using Bible quotes to prove your point? What makes your Bible such an authority that everyone should believe it?

BIBLE:
A violent and spiritually pornographic collection of books regarded by Christians as the word of God. It claims to have God'’s actual words. Christians habitually twist it to make it tell them what they want to hear.

These primitive Biblical beliefs have been kept alive all this time by an army of priests, preachers, ministers, and Rabbis because it is to their great profit to promote them. First, by imposing them on the helpless brains of children, and second, by saturating the air, TV, press, and schools with their childish superstitions and unreasonable claims. They fool the ignorant and make the gullible and the intelligent alike pay tribute to them. Their multi-billion-dollar properties and incomes are exempt from taxes; they get half-fare on trains, busses, and planes; and receive billions of dollars in grants of taxpayers' money to help build up their political power, wealth, and luxurious living. Taxes could be cut 10 percent if churches paid their just share. That would mean a probable saving of 20 billion dollars a year to the people of the U.S. every year of their lives.

And yet people still use Bible quotes to prove a point. Sad.

For now, as of today I totally believe In Jesus and believe he is who I will see when I leave this world. I do not call myself anything but a seeker of truth. Ive just never liked lables.

He is not only my brother but also my teacher. His words ring true in my heart and they are ones I try each day to live by, although I am sooooo far from perfect. Perfection is not something I am trying to obtain in this life. Its just too much pressure as I have a personality that is very playful!

Jesus taught so many things but mostly what I have learned from his written words are that of love and light.

Shining your light onto others and loving them as you would want yourself to be loved is the main point in his written words, in my opinion.

I do not believe one has to be baptized nor do I believe a person needs to be a Christian and announce he came, saw, taught, and died for us. My reasoning for the belief is what I think the Bible states and also what I have studied at length over many years in regards to near death experiences. I believe those experiences paint a picture of living, learning, loving, and going back home to analyze whats what and what needs to be learned via next experience without the memories of the past.

The world as we know it, right now, is in chaos. The point of evolving into light and love as Jesus taught has got to be getting close as this world will be destroyed by its inhabitants if something surreal does not take place soon. I also believe it will. Something has got to give.

Very true. Other writers in the bible, have added their take on it, but Brother, in his words, have shown what is needed to be done.

I do not believe one has to be baptized nor do I believe a person needs to be a Christian and announce he came, saw, taught, and died for us.

This was added by others later, but Brother never mentioned this as a requirement, to go back home. I do not know why many others don't see this as truth.

It will take place soon, many above have asked Father to send some down so that they can pave the way, and show man how to draw self out of chaos, on a massive scale.

In order to have peace and not chaos we as a whole have got to grow up and stop fighting over differences. Its just silly.

I strive for balance in my life and feel the Universe does the same. The balance we maintain in our hearts helps when communicating with others in regards to differences. Jesus shows us how to succesfully communicate along with other things but he is one that I look up to like a little sister would.

I do believe in laws and believe they are Universal. One day the Earth will be a paradise and no longer will be able to house chaos.

Hello yes. Jesus Christ didn't come here to die for nothing. He came here to provide a way. Other wise we fall short.
Your good works are as dirty rags before the Lord thy God our Father in Heaven. Jesus Christ makes the difference.

Very simple really.

Maybe I should rephrase the question. Not discounting Jesus at all, but I am asking could others get to heaven by following his teachings of being good, without confessing to be a Christian or baptism, or other outward showings of faith?

So says paul...

Would you mind showing everyone where Jesus said this?

I see no need for specifics and I never said Jesus said that. Why are you putting words in my mouth AK ?

Perhaps you can show us how to get to heaven ?

Answer: There is only one spirit of God in the universe and beyond, just one, so of course there's no other way other than by that same one spirit which is self contained within itself.

I know you didn't say that... paul did. I was asking you to show where Jesus said that because paul does not matter in the least (imho) So i wasn't putting words in your mouth... i was refuting the words that came out...

And...

I don't believe in the Christian idea of Heaven or Hell... The afterlife (whatever that might be) is where we all go... and there are no exceptions to the rule... Once our body dies... thats where we all go...

As far as getting to the afterlife... if you're interested in knowing the best path

Read Luke 6... The best path is discribed in detail in that chapter

Could Jesus have meant, imitate me, be like me, and you can enter heaven? Do you really think people who lived their lives like Brother, but don't accept him as Savior will be sent to eternal damnation?

Salvation by works, no one can "immitate" him. Salvation by works doesn't work, there's nothing you can trade to YHWH for your soul that he would care about, everything already belongs to him and there's nothing he hasn't made. Without the blood of the Lamb on you he sees your transgressions. You should know these things.

As I stated to the other poster who said this. I am asking to see responses of others, not an association of a side by self.

I'm trying to follow this conversation, but I am lost here. He said this above, but his link details what Jesus said on how to live your life. Maybe you are referring to something else?

I'm interested in this point. How can one, have the blood of the Lamb on them? If Jesus died for the sins of all, how does one obtain the blood?
