And if this happens, if Israel engages Syria, then what happens? America will come to the aid of Israel and start war with Syria. I've said it for months now and numerous times already on these forums that the foundations for another war are being laid. I've predicted that it will happen between 2014 (the timeline when Obama says he wants troops out of Afghanistan) and 2016 (by the end of Obama's second term or Romney's first when he is trying to get re-elected). The countries I believe we could go to war with are Iran (the obvious choice), Egypt (especially since they elected Mohamed Mosri), Libya, and/or Syria.

A new war could also justify keep troops in Afghanistan.

Sadly you are right the Mossad i believe are behind the recent killings in Sryia i doubt the defectors had such Intel.
