This is a hot one !!

They actually dig holes and then fill 'em back in !!

Like they say "You get what ya pay for"

Is This is the real "Shovel Ready" agenda ??

First, our excavation specialists insert their shovels into the ground and remove the soil. This presents the problem of an existing hole in the earth, creating a dangerous situation that could lead to hazards, including but not limited to tripping, falling, and bodily injuries.

Then there is the renewal process. At Earth Supply, we train professional backfillers to renew the soil in place of the existing hole, restoring the earth to its original condition.

Some folks say we’re just digging ditches and filling them back up again. But it’s about more than that. It’s about jobs.

Is it "real" or is it "Memorex" ?

This could be a satire or joke, but who really knows ?

YouTube Caption (edit profanity);

Undercover reporters posing as "Earth Supply and Renewal" -- group dedicated to digging holes and filling them back in, meet with Labor Bosses, NY Legislator, and former NY Assemblyman, who tell them how to secure funding for "Bull[snipie]" Green jobs.

John Hutchings, member of the Broome County legislature, told the undercover reporters posing as "Earth Supply and Renewal" his opinion on taxpayer-funded grant contracts; "You know the Green Jobs -- Green NY, between us, a lot of it is bullsh*t". Anthony Tocci, business manager for Local 601, tells Earth Supply and Renewal "You just wanna(sic) get the money. Then you figure out afterwards" Former NY assemblyman Ron Tocci is also featured laughing about the irony of the company's services: "One thing about it, it's shovel ready."

YOu'd at least think they'd be creative and say something like . . . Hey, we're lookin' for Jimmy Hoffa . . . ..

Guess not.

This was "uncovered" by the Breitbrats? Seems one should take this with a bit (and by that I mean, mountain) of salt.

I'm just a little surprised that this isn't getting more attention. We've got (alleged) union and government corruption, theft of taxpayers' funds, a decent conspiracy to committ and cover up all of the above. And so far, one joke and one comment to the effect of "the video is being shown by someone I don't like, so I will assume the video is faked."

Probably the discussion will pick up but it almost seems as if ATSers aren't really that serious about condemning corrupt government. But, perhaps, there is nothing to discuss. Perhaps the attitude is "I'm not surprised that the government is fraudulently passing money to the unions. I'm sure it's true, that's how they keep union votes, what's there to discuss?"

Because it's not corporate corruption.

If this is real, then it'll be a great illustration of the liberal mind-set.
